In "Protectors of the Earth" and "Heart of Courage", what are the percussive instruments being used? I hear base drum, timpani and tambourine (stick-slapped). What is the rhythmic instrumentation consist of? Thanks.

V piatok som bol na ich koncert v Nitre (Slovensko) a osobne som nemal až tak obrovské nároky, žiadneho Zimmera som neočakával a koncert som si aj tak dosť užil (miestami som mal aj zimomriavky a inak totálnu nostalgiu). Podľa niektorých komentárov pod videom som čakal totálnu katastrofu, ale až na Diva Dance z 5th Element (neviem, či sa to stalo aj niekomu inému, ale nepodarilo sa im načasovať dobre sprievodné video Divy v pozadí so spevákom + prevedenie mohlo byť aj lepšie) to bolo pomerne na úrovni. Jediný taký nitpick ktorý by som mal je ten, že pri Rains of Castamere bolo trošičku u speváka počuť ukrajinský prízvuk, ale dalo sa to prežiť a nebolo to až také výrazné.

Dobry den, isla hudba cisto iba z instrumentov v hale, alebo z reproduktorov, aby dociahla dalej aj do lacnejsich sedadiel? :) Vidim ze maju mikrofony na nastrojoch, ale neviem ci to je iba pre zaznam, alebo aj prehravane v hale.
Nejsem si jistý, ale reproduktory tam byly, takže si myslím, že to bylo pro přehrávání v hale. :)

Velmi nekvalitne zahrane. Dnes som to komentoval na fb ,stranku ktora im predava listky. Tak zlych Piratov co ma tento orchester,...Zaklinaca tiez,..no a vrchol bol Diva Dance z 5 Elementu!!! Velmi amatersky orchester a prevedenie!! Samozrejme,ze koment mi z fb vymazali :))) a zablokovali mi pridavat dalsie.
Tak tady ti ho snad nikdo nesmaže :) jakože já jsem si to užil ale souhlasím, že kdo má aspoň trochu hudební sluch, tak uslyší třeba chyby, atd. Za mě člověk nesmí mít velká očekávání, na druhou stranu nevím o žádném podobném tělesu nebo skupině, co hraje tolik skladeb z našich oblíbených filmů, her a seriálů, proto jsem na to šel, ale po druhé už bych asi nemusel no.

Spickove prevedenie skladieb,..pozri si,.ich odoberam. A kedze pocuvam filmovu hudbu 22 rokov bez prestavky,.len orchestralnu hudbu,..ziadne radio,rock,pop,techno,rap,..nic take. Dokola len orchestraln hudbu,..soundtrackov mam cez 800 a dokonca vzacne rozsirene verzie uz rozsirenych verzii :))) A ako byvaly tubista,ktory pobehal svet s orchestrami..mam naozaj velke naroky a preto pre mna tento Lord of the Sounds,..je proste niečo velmi amaterske.
Súhlasím. Nič moc kvalita. Celý ten orchester mi príde ako forma nad obsahom. Dobrú filmovú hudbu hraje napríklad filmová filharmónia v Prahe. Už som na nich bol a o mesiac hrajú v Prahe zas :)

Tak jsme byly včera v Liberci ... no ... Housle (i v tomto videu) byly o půl tonu níž, než mají bejt (nejlépe slyšet v HP music). Ten chlap ... no snažil se nám tam uzpívat Divu z 5th Elementu ... marně samože ... A nakonec jako bonus nám tam dali Jožina z bažin ... naprosté zlo ... Takže ... díky, znovu už ne....
Just saw this in Tallinn. Do not expect high-level performances here. The long introductions to every song are tedious, unnecessary, boring, and distracting. Would have preferred a medley any time. The hard Ukrainian accent for the English songs are ... most noticeable (toss a coin to the witcher). In the middle of the first half, for some reason, we were forced to applaud the orchestra and the conductor. Why not at the end of the half? Perhaps the artists couldn't hear themselves - I'm not sure, but the performances were out of tune at times. There was also the issue of timings for the drummer, strings, brass, guitar. The electric piano sounded cheap and distracting! Audio levels were not pleasant by any measure. The diva dance song started off ok, but I'm sad to say that the singer just cannot deliver this extremely demanding piece. I'd suggest making it your own, instead of trying to compete with autotune. Guardians of the galaxy (Hooked on a feeling) song was a horrendous mess, the whole orchestra overdid it, resulting in noise rather than music, and the singers, in turn, tried to sing over the orchestra, causing what could only be described as a painful auditory experience. I looked around me and saw many cringing faces, so that was definitely not just me. In conclusion, the whole thing didn't leave a particularly high-level impression at all, which would be totally fine, but the introduction led me to believe I was about to witness some extraordinary event with never-before-seen quality and mastery. But there were applauses and even some ovations, so I guess some people liked it. Sorry, but it was a big disappointment for me. 3/10
Was also there. Had a pretty good near front seat. Gotta say I had the opposite impression. If I hadn't had a mask, I would've visible grin most of the time as well, but that grin wasn't like the type you'd expect, but more of nostalgia and enjoyment. A lot of songs game be vibes of memories and normal response is to grin or smile. I think most were fine or above fine. I do kind of agree with diva though. Second part was slightly messy. Toss a coin to your witcher was super good tho. There might've been tiny accent... but eh? I honestly cannot agree with long introductions part. Having heard most of those osts myself, they were relatable and mostly recognizeable and I think they played huge part of the whole thing. The only thing that you did not mention and I found slightly disappointing was the song choice for lord of the rings. There are soooo many better OSTs, yet why did they go with a choice that I didn't even remember and had no nostalgia connection what-so-ever. Also, no skyrim :(... Vigings were by far most epic and well done. I do feel you're being a bit overcritical here and "I guess some people liked it" is overstatement and way more people liked it than you realize. But hey, your opinion :).
@@elvengames I acknowledge that I'm being harsh, its true. I guess I was just waiting for it for so long and was let down :( But it is so interesting you say that about the Vikings, as it marvelously demonstrates the differences between us and indeed the fact that people like different things. I thought it was very monotonous and stretched on for much longer than it had to. OST's are proven to be good, of course, but nostalgia and relatability aside, my gripe was more with how it sounded and was presented. I was more interested in listening to beautiful music, not some out-of-context voice explaining how good the graphics are on World Of Warcraft and how many copies it has sold. For me, these interludes completely took me out of the atmosphere of music and fragmented the experience. Like eating a nice meal at a cozy restaurant and having to fold laundry every 5 minutes in between. I was with 2 other people, and we all agreed it was not very enjoyable. But as I said, some people were very happy with it and gave standing ovations, so I know they enjoyed it. This type of show demands better sound quality and professionalism, which, in my opinion, were simply lacking. But it was 20€, so im not too upset about it :D
@@valmetj Tbh, the few times when the sound was a bit eh, I'm not sure if it was the orchestra or actual room/sound system problem. But yeah, people have different tastes. /Shrug.
