The CG was way too far back as we found out later The builder "Terry Gill" had repaired like new in a few days after with lots of lead in the nose. It then flew great.

Just like a real Corsair...too slow, stall, spin.
Do you RC guys check the CG before these fly cool airplanes? A little slow flight practice would not hurt as well.......
Definitely stall spin . Abrupt Angle of attack change just before the stall. Unfortunately I’ve lost friends doing this on base final in full-size AC
E real esse relógio?
Yes
Rudder may have malfunction, or maybe to much flap for coming in landing.. nice plain though
🤣🤣🤣..FANTASTIC !! …who else just scrolls past the boring flying parts to see the crash’s in these things ? … 🤣🤣
over a million views and only a thousand likes?
It hurts to see. Many years ago I crashed a similar size Corsair of a friend, in a very similar way.
Wow nice RC plane, its alot bigger then most RC planes. How much would it cost for one of these ? thx
Back then about $5000
Stalled. Lots of power. But he tried to float that approach like it was a high wing trainer. He wasn’t ready for the fast sink rate with power off. Then tip stalled so fast there was no recovering from that.
It's a warbird. Not a piper cub. No gliding it in. You fly them in all the way till your just off the ground!
What happened?
Stalled and too much motor torque
Probably needs a stall strip on the right side win wing. Or just get it trimmed out. Cartwheeling like that during a landing is very characteristic of why this plane was called the "ensign eliminator".
And this is why the CG on certain planes must be checked with the landing gear up and down... Tail heavy, slow speed, no flaps... crash
I have one. I played doom on it :)
It can indeed run doom
What was the cause of the crash? Some sort of stall?
Too slow and lots of motor torque
A friend of mine flew Corsairs during The War. Saw lots of combat action (and of course he never crashed.) He was aviation royalty. Died a while back after a very long and amazing life. Now he's flying one in heaven.
God bless your friend, Sir

@@SunofYork you are correct
Not a cross takeoff a downwind take off and landing
How much?
Stick with paper airplanes
Muy adelantado a su tiempo en una era donde los smartwatch no existían, sin duda una pieza tecnológica que cualquier coleccionista quisiera tener.
Why I could never get into RC planes, all that time and effort to produce such a great looking machine and then boom! Just like that, reduced to a pile of junk.... heartbreaking...
BEYOND COOL!
Classic mistakes hopefully you won’t repeat. A lot of work to repair hopefully lesson learned. Down wind landing, slow speed, keeping the nose down and maybe checking you have some wash out on the tips and it’s equal might help. No powering up at low level and zero speed, lots to not repeat.
He got caught in a crosswind
Baa baa black sheep.
*Let the Sunshine In...*
Pilot was obviously inexperienced. I could tell right away this guy didn't know what he was doing. His takeoff run was way too short and he pulled straight up. Then you could see the panic as he throttled back. Obviously he did not have control of the plane. An airplane like that needs to fly fast. He tried to float it in for a landing and it tips stalled. 100% pilot error
R/c pilots have got no instrument panel in front of them and have to judge everything by eyeball, so in that respect r/c flying is harder than flying real planes..:)
Looks like one of my maneuvers
It...stalled like a corsair. Got too slow and dropped that right wing. Used to happen on the full scale. Such a beautiful model too, RIP but hey it happens. Just slight pilot miscalculation and some panic it looks like was all
The full sized Corsair had this problem when it first started aircraft carrier landings. A small stall strip was added to the leading edge of the starboard wing, outboard of the guns. This model was stalling above the tree line so no ground effect way up there. The flaps are huge and the wheel strut covers are quite large too, all of which needs power to overcome. If you look at a lot of large r/c model crash videos you'll see that full flaps on landing are many times fatal. I've had problems with the elevator being blanked out by all this stuff hanging down, making pitch control almost impossible. Models would probably last longer by using 40 degrees of flap on landings. Leave full flaps for static judging on the ground. Remember, a 35 lb. model is way easier to slow down than a 8,000 lb. full sized fighter aircraft.
The constant throttle wrapping shows how immature and inexperienced he is
He was since it was 10 years ago. That plane is flyng great since after the repair. The same pilot has one of the largest RC 747 jets in the world too
Too slow too low
i rather have this then a apple watch, any day
No se calienta ?
I have a cfs-9900 I purchased new when I was just 16 35+ years ago. I am in the process of restoring it but the tape mechanism simply won’t work. It has loaded a tape 3 times giving me some hope. I think replacing the 3 belts will be my next step. I have oiled the mechanism and re-engaged the little spring deep in the mechanism that was dangling due to the plastic having broken long ago. Still no luck.
Yes replace the 2 main belts and I would not worry about the counter belt if the counter turns if you rotate the spindle.
@@Raptor50austhanks for the reply. The counter belt is the long one I assume. I need a source of belts or I guess I can buy 100 random sizes. Basically when the unit is turned on the spindles turn for a moment, then nothing happens and the controls have no response.
total stall. Sorry to laugh
Way ahead of it time
Cannot land if your not moving, stalled the plane, rookie mistake, go smaller planes until you know about flight characteristics.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
First learn to fly Depron-aircraft, then slowly scale up until you master r/c flying and being a good pilot.
Man that sucks
Metro Goldwyn Mayer
Such a sad thing to watch. Stall-spin due to angle of bank at slow speed, exacerbated by tremendous engine torque applied just as the wing tip stalled. It looks like this can be repaired thanks to the nylon wing mounting bolts shearing off. Such a beautiful aircraft deserves amother chance.
Heartbreaking, almost couldn’t watch knowing
Airspeed is very important, you have to get off of the up elevator.
Wtf ! James Bond 007 watch 1982
It's now scrap.😁
there is a very realistic f4u on real flight sim, get some stick time before destroying the real thing
