I think there’s something wrong with the website that you’re using because I went to order some Daniel Smith dot cards and paper just one pack which was $10. I live in Australia and the cheapest shipping was $200 and went up from there.

Have you tried any bamboo watercolor paper? I picked up a small sample pad but haven't tried it yet. Also prefer a bright white watercolor paper. I think it really does make a difference in the true color of the paints.

Love your video but why all the science of mixing colors? It is discouraging. I love my colors as I go along with my painting.

Just throwing this out there. I use to be a professional makeup artist and now retired I have a lot of empty shadow palettes, containers for lip products, and such. The makeup industry has so many palettes for travel needs and as you used the vitamin containers makeup containers work as well. Many of the plastic makeup certified containers are higher quality because of regulations (so makeup oils don't eat away at the container). I even use some of the makeup brushes for liquids to do my watercolors.

How small this world is! My husband and I are currently living with my parents & I grew up in Idaho. We were thinking of moving to Preston since my husband's family is all in UT and I have half of my family in UT as well. I saw your listing a while ago, and thought it was beautiful. It's just not within our price range sadly.. But I still look for inspo so when we find a house we can afford we have an idea of how we want to design/decorate 😆

So good! 20 years ago I packed away my watercolor supplies. I rarely painted at home (either out in nature or in group at teacher’s studio ). Just realized all my supplies were travel sized. Now I’m diving into acrylics + mixed media abstracts but wanted to review my watercolors and stuff from before. I’m not rushing to the store but think I could easily fall in love with watercolor sticks as I discovered and love tempura sticks. Thanks for inspiring video! I’m packing a travel kit tomorrow 😂

Learned so much! When I painted watercolor I chose to narrow down my paper choice to just one, Arches CP 140#. Everything else could vary. I put that aside for 20 years now diving in to so much, acrylics, different materials, and going through a pink cloud. Learned from you about Daniel Smith watercolor ground just now and the possibility of paper degrading. I like your teaching style and would definitely love a workshop on making journals. Thanks!
