Binary cleanse is the most realistic sounding set ive heard and played on just on the module. Really enjoying the Strata and currently mixing in more pads and cymbals from the Strike Pro SE.

There are a LOT of very valid questions being asked below and if Alesis isn't going to address them here than it's rather embarrassing that they even permit comments. I find the editor very un-intuitive, very slow in responding - when it does, and very in need of an update to bring it into the 20th century. * The delay between hitting a pad and it responding is way too slow. * Why do you have to drag an instrument to a pad to actually audition it? * How do you delete an instrument from a layer? * I accidently created a new user kit. How do I delete that? * When I am auditioning a drum pad and I drag instruments onto the layers, I can never hear both layers when clicking on that particular drum, just the first layer. * The LOOP ON/OFF - what does it do? * NONE of the parameters that you can adjust - LEVEL, PAN, DECAY PITCH, FILTER, VELOCITY, do anything while in the editor?? * SAME with the FX in EDIT FX. * How do you change the default kit? There is SO much potential here. Terrible customer support as well. I just dumped Native Instruments for the same reason. I have KONTAKT and about 30 pieces of their software but they have just eliminated any means of submitting a support ticket and instead want you to use a forum. I'll use what I have but I will NEVER buy anything new from them and NEVER recommend their products. Everything I find a problem above I tell to anyone asking about new electronic kits as well.

How can I program each pad to make only one sound each? Because each pad when I hit it makes 2 different sounds on one pad . I don’t want it to do that’s how can I stop it.

These are great WHEN they work. My pads are going out one by one. Get a roland octopad & save yourself the headache!

The Multipad currently does not support assigning sounds to a pad. The issue is with Firmware version V1.30. Does anyone know when Alesis will update the firmware to reinstate this feature?

Absolute trash kit, don't waste your money. Can't swing the beat, as cymbal triggers don't register half your strokes. Can't play d-beat/punk, or hip hop grooves as kick never registers doubles and triples. Kit sounds are terrible, and not balanced at all. Tom's overpower cymbals on all kits

Please Help I’m thinking of switching to an E kit exclusively because I cannot hear my acoustic drums through my in ears and Mics without turning the volume of the music up too loud and further damaging my hearing the bleed is too much even with custom in ear monitors and gunshot headphones over that When I’m just practicing I like to just sit behind the kit with no hearing protection any hearing protection I’ve ever used makes the drum sound crappy so I just play cold turkey. I can’t do this anymore my tinnitus is really bad. I’ve done that through my whole childhood. I’m 44 now I played on the Alesis strata prime at guitar Center, but I could only play on it a little bit with no songs to play along too just drums From what little I played on it I very much liked it Is it safe to assume that if I got an kit with headphones on playing music through with drum-less tracks that I would be able to hear much better and have better clarity and a better experience than my current set up with Drum and Mics what would be the difference between the two in clarity balance of sound with playing along to songs with in ears or headphones in your experience? I’ve had my Alesis Prime for about 4 days now and have a few questions/concerns. 1.Aux In plug in is extremely low in volume, it is full volume on my iPhone, am I missing something? 2. Do I need to use both XLR outputs for one Alesis AMP, the output does not specify which is mono, why not have a 1/4 mono output? 3. My kick trigger is double triggering like crazy, I have to set the thresholds to 90 which at that point my light kicks do not register. I am using an Iron Cobra 600 pedal. I will have to invest on another rug to see if I can minimize the vibration.

We got the kit. Everything is more even in the room, now, and the drummer's backing vocals are clearer and more even. (A lot of drummers sing and headset mics get murdered with the cymbals and snare.) Plus, we now run digital amps and in-ear monitors, so we can play more venues, clubs and events. More opportunity equals more money equals more gear and more sandwiches.

I just bought my Alesis Nitro max, special edition (the red and black) i wish it came with the usb because i cannot use it until I plug it into my pc. I also have dt 990 pro headphones (250 ohm) can i not use that? i also have a splitter that i tried connecting to my headphones, to the drum module and have an aux cord connecting to my goxlr and I still can't hear the drums. New to this whole thing so I'm not really sure on what to do :(

Hi frnds.. This alesis strike multipad cont able to satisfy our basic needs like pc software (wave manager), tempo synx and once wave file added into this pad we cont able to delete unwanted file, if you delete pad become switch off... Very very disappointed with this product.. So many times posted mail regarding update 1.4 and fix the issues there's no response from their side.. I recommend that don't buy this pad as per my worst experience with this strike multipad

Do the samples have to be 16 bit before loading them??
