I really sympathize with “let’s get married now before anyone else dies” thinking. I’m getting married in a month. Neither my fiancé or I actually feel an overwhelming urge to get married right now just for our own sake, but our parents are getting older and frailer and we don’t want them to miss it. 🤗

I'm 16 years old I've been adopted along with 3 of my full sibilings and a half-sibiling. Sometimes I find it funny when people get confused when I say my mom (who is Caucasian and I'm brown) is my mom. 😭 Anyways, I love it and I'm glad I got a life a lot of others haven't yet, but one day I want to adopt a child of my own. I still keep in touch with my birth-mom but not a lot. Honestly, I like my life so far!

I listened to Anaïs on the podcast « transfert » earlier today, just finished the documentary and now here I am. Your story is so so sweet, so happy for you and thanks for the update ❤
