In the winter, the carp are not going to be as hungry as they were. Spods and spods of bait are probably going to over-feed them so a small mouthful of food is all they will want. Drain the sweetcorn add vegetable glycerine until fully coated leave for while and then it's PVA friendly no colour or flavour added
Just soak it in salt
Why don't you use an hair dryer on low? Just for quickness at drying it out
