Dayton has been totally abandoned by all HUMAN LIFE

My sis was a bit of a hoarder. She passed a couple weeks ago. She didn't collect bowling balls, but that might be the only thing. I was dragging things out of a cabinet in her craft room, and picked up a tub that would remind you of a margarine tub, only it was twice the size. It slipped out of my hands, and fell to the floor. It popped open, and a gazilion buttons went flying all over the room. I exclaimed out loud, "Oh NO! Brenda!" Then I imagined her laughing at me from above, as I set about the task of getting all those buttons back in their tub. Yep, I am keeping them in remembrance of my sweet big sister. And for the laughs. But I'm taping that tub shut!

I only bowled youth league for a few years, and worked at an alley as well, but i had 15 balls, 3 bags, 2 pairs of shoes and other odds and ends. I can totally see collecting all that gear over a life of bowling, though im not sure how common that is. Maybe im just a hoarder.

Dayton has a rich and great history. Just bad leadership and community with ZERO accountability that ruined the city to its core. Addicts in almost every neighborhood and a ton of dilapidated housing with house flipping realtors buying up houses with dangerous electrical work. (I've seen it first hand.) But in the end it's still home...Sad to see it in its current state. Honestly keep her stuff or give it to the local Historic Society. I'm sure they be happy to preserve another local legend.

Awesome find and to the ppl saying they would take everything well that's stealing cause someone owns that property which makes them owners for those trucks RV and anything else on property. I found an abandoned 1996 Nissan skyline that was built to look like the fast and furious movie car on the woods near my house and we called cops and they said since it's on city property which is the woods and hasn't been registered in ,15 years at that point he said If I tow the car out it's mine cause they couldn't get a hold of the previous owners and vin number isn't coming up as stolen.

First thing that came to my mind was my Son and his shadow friend Big Lou...if those two came across this house there would be bowling balls in all directions! They were good boys id have that time again! Kids around the neighborhood now belong in jail!

I work at a drone company in Dayton! Sometimes the city asks us to check on abandoned properties. We don't go inside or anything, we just check the roof, look for broken class, that kind of thing.

There are a lot of "unsolved" cases in Dayton that should have been prosecuted and certainly had enough evidence to do so. It seems like the police do a cursory investigation and then just give up.

Luckily half the city is abandoned and ready to explore

dayton has its issues but in certain areas houses like this are protected in a way by the community because most times that person was well respected and there for the property is left alone by most 😊😊
