SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI V Vengeance a Nahobino one turn kill idea
www.reddit.com/r/Megaten/comments/1dquzf3/why_is_no_one_using_onmipotent_succesion/
this reddit post gave a good suggestion so im testing it out and it smacks. Could probably get the one turn if baal got hit with a debuff or if satan was -2. [This was done on hard mode]

SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI V Vengeance true masakado [HARD] beaten

So this fight is actually a joke. This save file is only on ng and I did not use any balms on NG and stopped using demon haunts like around shinagawa. Arioch only got pumped with battle sutra and asura also only got pumped with battle sutra. I used a testament table and dumped all my points into vit so I can live from a crit freikugel. I used arioch cuz hes just broken ngl, asura because his pa...
awesome. sakuya dying at the end means even more damage to vaginoch
It is hillarious to see Arioch dealing a crap ton of damage with that dinky sword 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kinda lame that we don't get anything for beating true masakado, so many deaths and for what? For fucking what? 😂
Basically, bragging rights.
if you keep using this tactic you could use yoshitsune and have him use a random gem that satan nulls in order to get an extra full icon
How is Figment Slash hitting 100% accurate?
Beast eye and dragon eye.
@@thegoodvillain777 I guess Figment Slash is more accurate than Heavy Slash then cause that move almost never hits even with both eye skills
Masakado is weak to physical?
Weak to everything
I see. I thought there is demon that can change enemy weakness.
This is like the first gimmickless, straightforward engage with the fight clear of this boss i have seen lol
I’m not looking forward to a true masakado fight I barely beat him with omnipotent succession and savage murakumo
Using the Nahobino as bait is pretty ballsy. I can respect that.
Masakado's AI will replace elemental attacks he uses with Freikugel if that element was nulled, repelled or drained in the precious turn. Since Naho always ends his turn by draining his attack, Masakado will usually only ever get to use Freikugel once, which can be dodged with LumiMirage. This is why using Block passives instead of Repel or Drain passives for Masakado is a bad idea.
@@lewisspring35 yeah, otherwise your tank will need to guard to block freikugels
Don’t care how op Arioch is i am not using him 😂
I hate the design so much. Im sticking with Yoshitsune
I would use nahobeeho for my figment user
same, I used Gogmagog instead
Same lol
@@samza9233instead of asura in this strat you can use preta who has the same focused assault trait but more weaknesses for gog damage, and level 99 figment slash preta is funny of course
Damn
wait what essence did u use for nahobino

Was experimenting with something similar, but using masakado and strategize, on godborn on hard difficulty. But man. Critting everyone consistently no problem, except satan now with Masakados aoe murakumo. Hitting his summons for 26k damage, but satan only says nope and takes 10k from the crit. And then suddenly not critting twice in a row, despite maxing Masakados crit rate, and, with the latter attempt, even summoning lucifer to passively grant even more crit rate, but to no avail. Maybe I too should try a figment slash build. Didnt know that figment slash has 100% hit rate when foes are maximally debilitated while oneself is maximally buffed.
I don't think that is the case. You def need dragon eye (or is it beast eye? Or both?) to pull off consistent figment slashes.
@@fitfitter95 It's generally been thought that the 20%+ increases that the base auto skills give like the early pleromas and stuff like poison adept aren't worth it, lategame at least unless you're into insane minmaxing on your damage. I've been mainly running dragon eye only and while yes, miss chance is still present, it's significantly less and wiffing a hit isn't too common unlike when you're running basic figment slash with nothing helping with hit chance. Beast eye is basically extra padding for the extremely concerned. Then again I still haven't gotten to godborn so we'll see how bad that goes when I get there.
Okay, now that's a shot I can get behind of. Too bad he ate Hariti in the end (I can only imagine how the next turn went...)
Question because I’m curious. Why do Bino and Sakuya not have Boon Boost or Boon Boost EX? Since Masakado is like, the only Atlus superboss ever to not have some sort of buff/debuff move or Dekaja/Dekunda it’s completely safe
I didn’t think about using those. Could kill him in less turns since sakuya is spending more time using donum than buffing.
How much you wanna bet Dekaja and Dekunda would be in his moveset if the buff system worked like Nocturne/4/Apocalypse instead of Persona.
he doesn't have Dekunda cause he gets innate crit% and damage when he's debuffed.@@ogre589
Very nice! I did something similar just a bit ago with Paraselene blur. With about 250str, you CAN one-turn-kill him on normal mode. You do need to have him eat one of his demons that is weak to light, tho (like Kaiwan). My set up was Blur, Mirage, light pleroma, high light pleroma, murderous glee, bloody glee, intercalation, and enduring soul. With him at -2 all stats, weak to light, and me +2 all stats, you can actually do a one-turn-kill. It does require a bit of RNG with crits, perhaps, and I don't have a way to record on my PS5, but I was able to pull it off on I believe the last or second to last paraselene blur that actually hits him.
I did it with 500 str or so on Hard +1/-1 iirc. It doesn't even require a weakness to Light at that point, just getting some luck with crits
@@elysisolnoxvarix2183... There's a BIG difference between 250 STR and 500 STR.
@@Kerem-mf9oy yeah i'm just saying you can do it though
@@elysisolnoxvarix2183 kinda late to this but you can do it with 220 str if the previous turn have switched norn and dis in
Zeus also really op. has a stock ability to increase his accuracy, crit rate and damage based on allies alive in stock during battle.
It doesn't increase his damage, just crit rate and accuracy.

Arioch is so OP with Avenger. I would use him if he weren't so ugly to look at lol.
Some demons are cool because they're ugly.. like Pisaca, Arioch, Eisheth, & a few others in my opinion
@@punkapunk9917 I mean, they're ugly by design, which is cool. Honestly I'm mostly joking for Arioch. I will probably use him if I have my entire stock die to some superboss. It's actually hard to kill off your demons than it is to heal them, at some point.
Still wonder besides him, what demonic authority would be his equal, belial is taken, and i guess the others are stuck in JPEG jail like lucifuge and such
He was really obnoxious in DeSu, I don't see myself ever using him again
@@punkapunk9917speak for yourself, id def do some things with eisheth
I'm a big wide chubby boi with a mouth to my belly!
“Mouth” yeah sure 😏
How much agility do you need to land every single figment slash?
Agility has no real effect on hit rate. You need Beast Eye, Dragon Eye, max buffs and max debuffs and you'll always hit
@@elysisolnoxvarix2183That's just a big fat lie, i've done an Agility only Build Run already and i literally abused the fact that Critical Slash, Rampage and the like would almost never miss, without Beast Eye or Dragon Eye
@@dimensionalnemesis8636 yes, the formulas have released and you can look them up on steam; technically i was wrong as you do gain significant hit rate boosts from agility, however the evasion rate boosts for having more agility than an enemy are negligible. my mistake was assuming they were symmetrical calculations. the benefit of agility is still nebulous compared to other stats, but a str/agi build can omit one or even both hit passives. the fact remains that at equal agility and even when outmatched, using the standard hit rate up setup will produce an over 99% hit rate and i do not recommend going full agility.
@@dimensionalnemesis8636 I think level difference and other differences between you and enemy may factor in.
