There's been many a land rover fall into ditches here. when I first visited I think the lightness of the duster means it's less of a risk.

No additional extra protection on these dusters, where are you from?

Most of my videos are from my 2015 and 2020 Duster the 2020 has a third party sump/skid guard that provides a bit of extra protection at the front but the ad blue sensor thing underneath has survived a lot of banging etc, I don't tend to do many videos of me talking I'm not so great at that I've tried lol, taking a certain line comes naturally when you work out what you might catch or get stuck on!

I just always wonder how the carr in all these off road videos look in reality and feel on the road. I'm just a bit scared to break something and end up paying after having a few min of fun. I'm German living in the north of Italy. Unfortunately here the law is not on the side of off roading. And besides a 4x4 school I don't find any parks or official trails in my area. Regarding the talking I can guarantee its better than you thing yourself. Makes it more real and entertaining hearing someone speak. Even better when it's not perfect 😉

The local rep/community is very good at organising jobs to clear stuff out, they sorted a few lanes out in the week after I came.

@@Allthingsdefender I do a lot of driving on obscure less well known green lanes and when I'm driving in areas that are popular, it usually happens to be on week days and virtually non existent traffic on those days, if I was to count in my life time doing this I've probably came across 5 or 6 laners and approx ten or so bikes I think they were all going the same way as me too

Hi, I plan my lanes to start as soon as the sun rises, I always have my mapping app up on the way to look at anything on the way. This was a few miles to the start of the day and was driven at 7:20am the sun on that day was rising at 8:06am as it rises before it gets to 8:06 the area is a lot brighter. I don't like night laning but after seeing at the start it was a wide track I decided to drive it and record it and 7:20 is a reasonable time, I don't have any additional lights so this was driven with the Dusters standard lights. I hope this helps.

Have I even been there lol I guess you mean east of that area, Yorkshire? I'm not certain where I'm going yet it's all on the cards I'm planning a camping trip this year and a 3 day trip like my borderlands trip in 2022

To be fair I do it a lot but usually cut it out of the video! I had already driven in from the other end and a horse rider was heading down the lane so I got out and had a walk then I didn't feel like I'd be able to do it but a switch in my head said go try... So I waited for the horse rider at the other end and went opposite to the planned route

@@the_explorer_adam Oh no, i didn't mean from you. I meant in general CZcams laning videos. Nothing but respect for your behaviour. You see all sorts of videos where people are arguing with the general public over it being allowed... Which i daresay also happens.

@@Tigermoto I got stopped by a farmer and that's on video but he's standing right next to a legal document saying this is now a byway open to all traffic! Oh and there's that one video on the channel banned for UK viewers of me getting very nearly pulled out of the car and threats to kill along with poor police work but you'll have to be in another country to watch that lol

@@the_explorer_adam So it would seem. Are you using any special tyres for these videos? I drive a Land Rover Freelander 2 but honestly I've recently been binge watching your videos (Especially the Oldham ones as they're close to home,) I feel that really mine would be more similar to the Duster than the other Land Rovers and the Diff lock, ladder chassis brigade. I must say the things you make that thing do really inspires confidence.

These videos are from the summer they are being released every 3 days until there isn't any more or new ones are recorded, even if I published them all in one go it doesn't matter when people will still be able to see them. As like most videos on CZcams we expect the viewers to do what they think it's right. Some lanes are durable no matter how much it rains

Hi Steve, we have over 700 videos so regretfully we used a feature to bulk update the description, some of our oldest videos don't have the TW2 uid on because it's a long process retrospectively adding them all and searching TW2 just comment on the ones you want and I'll try to update them, however I'm a bus driver and do long days at work so you might have to bear with me

There are other videos in our collection with drone clips in-between footage but it became pretty time consuming getting the drone out!

I think they were rebuilding the wall of the house

Would of been even better if it wasn't closed on the opposite side! The climb back up the lane was fun, it's in great condition but helluva steep!
