Stop-motion movie of student group checkoffs

The "inverted" format of our theory sessions at Bellingham Technical College completely displaces lecture. Students independently complete homework assignments the day prior, then meet with the instructor in groups no larger than four to review their findings, ask questions, and answer challenge questions from the instructor. What would ordinarily require hours of time per day in a classroom ta...

A short demonstration of our home-made PID controller software, based on a Raspberry Pi computer running the Linux operating system.
Model K-30 carbon dioxide sensor demonstration
zhlédnutí 2,8KPřed 8 lety
In this video we show a model K-30 carbon dioxide sensor connected to channel 12 of our home-brew SCADA system, monitoring carbon dioxide concentration in parts per million. This is a very affordable sensor suitable for use as an educational gas analyzer. CORRECTION: the website for this sensor's manufacturer is CO2METER.COM rather than CO2SENSOR as I say in the video!

We are using a Rosemount model 3051S differential pressure transmitter to sense the pressure difference across a "baghouse" used to filter air vented from booths in a weld shop. The transmitter's 4-20 mA DC signal is sent through a 250 ohm resistor, producing a 1-5 volt DC voltage signal, which is sensed by the first analog input on a LabJack model T7 data acquisition unit. This data is then po...

Marimba bar tuning

Not exactly an industrial instrumentation video, but relevant to frequency and frequency measurement nonetheless. Note the use of a "strobe" type of tuner, which uses flashing light (triggered by the microphone input) to "freeze" marked tracks on a spinning wheel. When the frequency is correct, a pattern of light/dark squares comes into view on the wheel. Multiple tracks on the spinning wheel h...

it is a very claer explanation. why 220 idiots didnt like it :D
Holy crap
I used to work in the Foxboro factory, for 2 summers. I never completely understood what the parts I made did! I find it interesting how you said that your unit had the wrong diaphragm. I worked in the capsule room, assembling and welding the diaphragms and flexures onto the capsules, then filling them with oil. Were you actually swapping out the entire capsule?
This made my day. One of the coolest demonstrations of AC I have seen 🙂
So I’m gonna go on a limb and say so the neons are connected phase to phase of each generator?
عجب جامع و عالی بود توضیحتون
"Probably the most complicated or confusing part is the torque tube itself..." Really?? Sure buddy.
Thank you, very well illustrated
by what process is a total NOx reading filtered to determine NO2 and NO3 levels?
Be careful, that cavitation you see just after the suction valve is caused by the pressure drop through the valve not the pump...sending them to the pump.
Excellent 👍
Isn't there a tool that do this automatically?

*Absolut GEIL! Danke für dieses Video.*
thank you
Waiting for the conspiracy idjits to chime in about how the gubberment is clearly hiding the infinite energy machines because you’ve got 2 running right there.
wireless intrinsically safe transmitter did need a zener or galvanic barrier in control room to limit the voltage and current . please can anyone answer me
If I have intrinsically safe wireless transmitter Ex ia did I need zener or galvanic barriers in control room
There used to be a tool making this easy to do. I have been looking for a set, but I guess they are no longer available.
Does the slave PLC not need any code for modbus? If I’m seeing send/receive instructions in a ladder program do I immediately know I’m reading a program meant for a master PLC?
13 years later and still helping thanks!
Have you done a video with two dissimilar power sources? I’m wondering about how it works when you sync an inverter with a generator?
Now let’s put it to the test: will it do useful work if connected to a fan, pump or light?
What shit termination 😂🤘🇰🇿
Thank you a lot. I've searched for for high level description what cryptic GND/AC/DC labels mean but found a throughout explanation. Now it makes a complete sense.
Nice one
Huh. Neat.
Is it possible for cavitation on an outboard engine to cause a noise like this at 2-3 mph ? But smooth any other speed. Or does it need to be in a closed system for that noise
Finally i undertand , pararel on loop resistance is insane
Finally i understand
Thank You for the demonstration!
Wireless Gateway 1420 is discontinued or not? can anyone tell me
I can't believe this video has been around for over a decade and I've never seen it. This is the most informative demonstration I've ever seen for cavitation.
Just log into the switch and clear the ARP entry for the old port. No piwer cycle
Very useful demo
What are you wanting to accomplish?
Are you wanting to develope a rocketstove for heating or cooking?
This is how some flow meters work
The best demonstration ever. I always show it to my students in Brazil. Congrats!
Does this mean that eventually electric cars may not need breaks? Especially if they are 4 wheel drive?
Can this be done with a DSO or just analog scope?
10 years later and this helped me with my cyber security course I am currently taking for a certification! Never heard of a hub before and didn't even realize this feature of switches I've been using forever! I've always viewed switches the way I now know hubs work, thank you sir!
What is output foundation fieldbud ? Pls reply
What does an earth-ground loop look like?
Well this gave me an idea, i could make a perfectly imperfect comparator from 2 generats
Looks like the ground wire is connected too, trying to up date my unit in 2024, retro stuff is great, spent days trying to get it to work!, may need windows 98 to do it!
We Got Weights-N-Fish👀🤪🎣
is there a formula to determine the reduced pressure from the inlet due to closing of the inlet valve? or do you know any paper explaining the pressure drop due to the closed valve?
What happens when you turn the breaker on when they are out of phase?
I would be extremely appreciative if you can share with me the components and materials used for this great illustration. Looking forward to to rebuild this concept to my students. Can you plz help us.
