I replaced the UV bulb in my easyclear 6000 yesterday after watching this video and was surprised to find the chamber with the quartz tube in it wet! Should it be wet inside that chamber? Many thanks for the video 👍

I have just bought this little pump, do you know if I can fit a bell top to this small pump? I know that the bell top comes included with the bigger pumps.

Thanks for the video, very helpful. However our pump operates on a little waterfall, which has stopped working. I have followed your instructions and cleaned the unit thoroughly. The motor is working but it still isn't flowing. There is a seal which seems to have stretched, which I will replace if I can locate a replacement. Also I cannot tell whether the uv bulb is working or not, is it important? Any other suggestions please?

Don't run house water through the bio filter media, that will kill the bacteria if your water is chlorinated, defeating the whole purpose of this filter

Where the bulb goes, underneath it I've noticed that there has been some water getting in, I'm assuming it's this what is making the pump trip. Do I need a new rubber or completely new pump.

What demo? If the pump doesn't get wet, it isn't a demo!

It’s crap !! The outer casing for bulb broke and the black bit at the bottom to screw out doesn’t come off. So just bloody broke it 😡

Is it safe to use for a large indoor aquarium?

I've heard good reviews about this filter, but why is there two inlets? is it built that way in case one breaks and you have a spare?

What is the name of the powder you added to the filter, and are there installation and maintenance instructions inside the device?

Can u help I have a hozelock easyclear 9000 and it keeps tripping, its not the uv bulb etc. Have taken the rotor out and cleaned it. The magnet does have scores in it, u can feel them.

I have a 9000 easyclear, which keeps tripping and when I open it where the uv bulb is, water seems to be getting inside, I've got the rubbers there which are on the outer casing so don't know how the water is getting in, please help.
