You could always let out some air from inside the suit by getting down and widening the neoprene collar simultaniously for a split second, Would make it much easier to swim. Some of the air is benificial to leave for additional buoyancy. And, always use a PFD as well. Very good suits…

Nice fish and strikes! Do the shark downrigger weights actually work as advertised as a fish attractor and you just run your lure closely behind the weight? Or do you mainly use them to reduce blowback, and still run a flasher or other attractor behind it? Thanks

Your speed depends on how cold the water temperature is, and what you are fishing with. The colder the water is, the slower you go. When we are fishing in the end of april (with spoons), we fish in 2,5-2,7 knot(4,6-5 km/t). I think you should right now fish around 2-2,4 knots if you are fishing with spoons. Are you using baithfish then go slower, 1,5-1,8 knots. Also use flashers on the downriggers and also in surface on the two outer rods. Most important right now is to seek warmer waters. You can also find warmer waters where its deeper waters. Try using more rods on the downriggers.

hello Frank, could you be so kind to give me advise on how to fish in cold water. We have now water temp between 4-5 C. yesterday i found water where it rise from 4 to 4,9 C . but had empty day... i slowed my speed to about 3,2 -3,5 km/h. Normally i troll at about 4 km speed. i assume in cold 5C water i should troll slower than in 8 C??

Hello Frank, I am also considering this boat for trolling ina baltic. i never been on that boat. but also i need a boat for other kind of fishing like spincasting. dont you think is is a bit short of space on the deck? could you tell me what is distance between doors and bench? i mean fishing deck width and length? how you feel that boat for active fishing for two normal fitted guys in the aft? Tusen takk for god tilbakemelding,vurderer og kjøpe en slik båt. Vil mest bli brukt som transport til hytta sommerstid og til grilling og koseturer i fint vær,den vil nok fungere fint til det. Har beneteau 550 flyer cabriolet nå,men ønsker en båt med fast overbygg:)

Awesome downrigger release footage!! I fish Lake Ontario, and we hook a few Atlantics, but way more Kings, Steelhead, and Coho, with some brown trout and Lakers thrown in for good measure. I love the ways those Atlantics jump! Love your videos guys!!
