Both sides are unique and the feeling is different. A large part of the falls is visible from Zim side (maybe 2/3 of it), there is more water that side too. On the other side our Zambian side is much shorter compared to Zim side in terms of viewing. But our view points are very close to the edge of the falls compared to the Zim side. Plus the knife bridge gives it a whole different experience. Otherwise visiting only one side of the falls is not complete, if the boarder can be scrapped off and allow tourists access to both sides with one entrance fee it would be good.. we are one people.

What makes me angry is that in Zimbabwe, they seem to want to take advantage of the fact that the Tonga are not as many as the Ndebele, and force them to learn Ndebele in school, and not Tonga. I am a Zambian Tonga and I say to hell with that. I am prepared to fight this issue. No one is going to strip away our language, culture or land.

Good morning Shamy. When did you take this video? I think its from Zimbabwean side. Right? I saw the Falls from the Zsmbian side in April last year and in the same month,five years back. There was plenty of water on both the occasions. I plan to visit the Falls in June this year again and i want to see it from Zimbabwean side also,this time Due to scanty rains this year,i am worried i will not have a good experience this time Since,you are a regular blogger on this subject,do you think,things may improve by June,because,the upstream water may rrach the Falls by then?
