Just bought this. Can't wait for Super Deluxe Editions of Controversy, Around The World...,Parade & Lovesexy. Wouldn't even mind a Super Deluxe of Rainbow Children if that ever comes to pass.

Just got this. Probably gonna open it up & start listening tomorrow.

Hopefully TOAFC will be rereleased in a few years - with Atmos? - to the same scale as these others. In the meantime, I, Robot next will do for me, followed by Vulture Culture please.

My father got this on cassette in 1979 to test the tape player in his new car. I remember how he cranked it up real loud. I found the tape in 1983 & it became my favorite music by Parsons.

Can t wait for my ordered copy -coming soon -the set looks great -my favourite Alan Parsons album!

Fancy box, much too big. The Harrison box set 1976-1991 is much better and has jewel cases. Those cardboard sleeves look nice for a week, but soon look awful.

A nice presentation of the set! But who in their right mind would pay $2,000.00 for this ? There is a pamphlet inside which reads 666 ? Why? Are Yoko and Sean Satanists ? Yoko kicked Johns relatives out of their homes, after his death, which John had purchased for them, but failed to deed into their name. Nice woman huh? Yoko has the morals of an alley cat and Sean talks like girl. Thumbs down to these 2 greedy bastards. I wish John had stayed with May Pang, he might still be with us today.

Unfortunately, only dare and fascination hold up. Amazingly, these sound less dated than the jimmy jam/terry Lewis productions. I wish the early stuff was here and the collection ended with hysteria (so hit or miss) and had love & dancing

The Who s super deluxe editions are all we could ask for. They took a lot of time to gather the original tapes and desing. This one includes Pete Townshend s demos, but he forgot to add the complete That Motherland Feeling/Rael, versión that you can find on CZcams. Also, there are 3 different "Jekil & Hide" different mixes.

Maybe the material that didn’t make it to the 4 vinyl will end up on a record store day release. The live tracks for example will probably be released on RSD.

I got the 6CD Edition & I bought the Double Vinyl Edition..4 LP seemed a bit to too much for less tracks than the 6 CD

Is "Alternate Sequence Edition" different from canon release? Like additional vocals on "Invisible Sun" or extended intros?

thank u i watched ur video time and time again to decide. as i have police albums set and 2synchronicity disk. and few vinyl bought years ago. i went for 6 cd version i had to have it. i cant wait to arrive in oz thanku once again. cheers

I have the cd-box, the picture disc, and almost by mistake the 2-cd. I probably will buy the 2 color vinyl.

I got the 2LP color pressing, sounds great but the red record was warped. It still played though.

Does anyone know why they waited so long to release this archive material? Has something happened recently (eg. legally) that let these tracks be released? Had they released this in the 90s when everyone was buying physical media they would have sold millions of this set.

Great video. Excellent presentation of all that's available. I bought the 6 cd set. Other than the Beatles, this is the top for me. Synchronicity 40th is a grand slam!

For those of us who take the more modest route of listening to super deluxe boxed sets on Apple Music, including this set, please consider mentioning and passing an opinion on their digital offerings.

This Box Set is definitely the proverbial Christmas Day come early for me - I am ecstatic!!! To the powers that be, if you care to release "Outlandos d'Amour, Reggatta de Blanc, Zenyattà Mondatta and Ghost In The Machine in similar boxes, well... I'm writing the cheque for 'em right now!

Oh by the way, this would be my box set of the year. It really puts the album into perspective as regards to the way the songs have been fleshed out.

I bought four out of the 5 formats, just waiting for the picture disc to arrive. This LP means a lot to me. I remember my mother buying this for me on tape when Argos used to sell music.😊 Thanks for making the video 🫡

For Universal Music to postpone the Pete Townshend box until October(when the sets had already been manufactured) shows that Universal Music's "Marketing Geniuses" aren't. They forfeit the right to complain when the set appears on free download sites...as it inevitably will.

What a load of rubbish! Records, good. Book, good. The rest is just useless junk. Once upon a time collectors used to collect records that were genuine releases; now they are putting together collections just to give collectors something to collect.
