Suzuki SV650 Misfire / Backfiring Problem & Solution
This video is of a 2001 Suzuki SV 650 that ran perfectly fine until it stood for a few months through winter where it developed a misfire that you can see in the video.
After removing, stripping and Ultrasonic cleaning the carbs it ran fine.
The cause for the misfire was probably a blocked jet or a port in the carbs blocked, with bad fuel after the bike was stood for a few months. This would cause the bike to run lean, which caused the backfiring.
If you have a similar problem make sure your carbs are properly cleaned.

What rear end is that from and was it easy to mount?

The rear end is from a 2004 Kawasaki ZX636. It is the complete rear end including subframe, undertray and fairing. I completely removed/cut the bandit subframe off the main frame and had to weld new lugs to the main frame to bolt the Kawasaki rear end on. Hope this helps?
