The Hawaii Mars does a few taxi tests before taking her final flight this weekend. Sorry for the handheld cam, I was racing to find a good vantage point.

InReach Mini vs SPOT Messenger for Pilots
He needed 100 more landing lessons by the looks of it. Looks like someone who had never flown a plane.
Obviously not a Gr8 System. Re Engineering Looks like 👍 an Urgent Upgrade ASAP
Can't the retrofit ejector seats on these old aircraft? And with the unconscious pilot scenario?
the future of aviation is not having to pay millions for the privilege, or having to go to an airport to take off and land
It did happen and this channel is super gay
The go-around is the most overlooked and underpracticed maneuver, but it is the most important during initial training. With all the loss-of-control accidents in GA, most are during a go-around.
why is a river inches from run way?
“Rudder? Never hear of him”
You can always go Around
Potential criminal charges the pilot could face: (Copied from chatGPT) "The most serious charge the gyroplane pilot could face, assuming it is determined they knowingly performed a prohibited maneuver that led to the deaths, would likely be second-degree murder or voluntary manslaughter. These charges apply when there is no premeditation, but there is recklessness or an intentional act that shows a disregard for human life. Second-degree murder: This charge could be pursued if the prosecution believes the pilot's actions were reckless to the extent that they showed "depraved indifference to human life." Second-degree murder doesn't require the intent to kill but does require the intent to perform an act with extreme recklessness, knowing it could result in someone's death. Sentencing: In the U.S., second-degree murder convictions typically carry sentences ranging from 15 years to life imprisonment, depending on the jurisdiction and other circumstances (e.g., criminal history, state law, etc.). Voluntary manslaughter: If it is determined that the pilot's actions were reckless but without the level of malice required for second-degree murder, they might face charges of voluntary manslaughter. This is often the case when someone acts in a way that leads to death, but there is no premeditation. Sentencing: Voluntary manslaughter convictions generally carry sentences of 3 to 15 years in prison. However, some states may allow for longer sentences, especially if multiple fatalities are involved. Criminal Negligence or Gross Negligence: While not as severe as second-degree murder or voluntary manslaughter, if the pilot's actions were found to be criminally negligent, they could be charged with criminally negligent homicide. This charge applies when a person unintentionally causes death through negligent actions that deviate greatly from what a reasonable person would do. Sentencing: Depending on the state, sentences for criminal negligence homicide can range from probation to 10 years or more in prison, particularly if multiple deaths are involved. Ultimately, the exact charge and potential sentence would depend on the findings of the investigation, the level of recklessness, and whether the pilot had prior knowledge of the risks associated with their actions" (GPT)

There were several deficiencies noted before the solo, so why was he allowed to solo.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
No matter what the terrain is, you have always to be fast in pushing the stick to nick the plane, to not get into any stall or pull it into a controlled (near)stall, if you want to make "slam". While we learned flying as juveniles in sail planes, we gained a good training in energy management and control, which helps with other type ratings too!
😢what no emergency brakes, no ABS 😢😢😢😢😢😢
For the millionth time i still say airshows are useless. Retired pilots with swagger doing stunts that could kill innocent people..... Those pilots are the reason lost my... forget it. Nobody cares.
How best friends fly...
Expensive lawn mower
This is false
All that water out there and these two meet. Once the plane is at take off speed he's commited but the boat could obviously see the plane but still proceeded to get in the planes path. I blame the captain of that boat.
If we were meant to fly, we would have wings.
Bad instructor
This person received a lot of participation trophies in life.
More rudder sir
Smart pilot!
TG he/she survived
Thats a stupid system. It would be better to use a car type ABS with a load sensor and balance the load and should have two systems on each axle and the front nose wheel should have steering and a suspension.
A series of mistakes like this can ruin your entire day.
You should tell whether they survive upfront, not use it as bait to keep people watching
I have both. Sayintentions is far ahead as far as development goes. No update on Beyond ATC in quite a while.
Are you nuts? BATC is constantly updating. And even now Traffic is days away...
And that want to be pilot should never be allowed to fly an airplane ever again. Period.
The ‘ol stall. Getcha ever time.
Perhaps aviation isn't this person's strength. Way too many basic errors and opportunities missed.
How stupid u want to be before u die? 😅
Yup, not enough airspeed and then over banked. Student simply was just thinking of getting back on the landing pattern, forgot everything else.
I dont believe the pilot survived this crash. Or this story. This is one of those lame AI vids
Pilots should remain vigilant while performing landings. DUH. LOL
I've never understood the design laziness of free castering nodewheels. Even on a much smaller airplanes it's not worth the 5 pound weight savings.
That student pilot can still explore other things like being a flight attendant
Omfg. It’s in the Cessna flight manual, rudder to prevent further yaw, yoke forward to increase airflow over the wing. Will need to trim forward prob and is going to feel weird with 40* of flaps. Instructors didn’t do their job imo…
Had no business soloing. Also I think that spin testing should be required before soloing. A student should be able without assistance Spin and recover the aircraft before an instructor should even considered soloing the student.
Boooolsheeeet. Medical exams required every 24 months at a minimum
Also not correct. Every 5 years. But that doesn’t test any flight skills.
My flight instructor told me to never ever enter a cockpit again.
That's a mfg flaw. I would sue, but again I wouldn't buy one as I'm not driving a dozer.
Very
I saw a plane just like that, fly underneath the Pennsylvania/New jersey turnpike bridge back in the 80’s. Was that you?
He learned that from watching Probable Cause with Dan Gryder. Good job buddy.
Airbags I wonder ?
Cirrus is out here saving money on critical systems.
It might not expire. But you won’t be current.
