On this channel I operate different types of machines around my farm.
Burning brush piles with the 850, and the D6D.
In this video I figured it was a good day to burn some brush piles, so I use the 850 to push up brush, while using the D6D to round up the brush piles.

Pulling Trees With The Intimidator

In this video we pull some trees using a tree puller called the intimidator.
I wish your time Kerrie, and one twig all the way back put a bunch of them. I’ll pull the whole tree for God sakes, unless you like wasting fuel.
No trees were harmed in the making of this video. I only saw bushes and maybe a sapling.
Is that all the cedars you pulled out? Plenty of fires going there.
Yes, and all the stuff we’ve been pushing with the dozer. Yes we had plenty of fire going.
So do you like the dozer or skid steer more?
Dozer, but really depends on the job.
@@TukerD Dozer is my choice for grading and pushing large piles, skid steers are my favorite machines for loading, unloading, drilling holes, fence work.
What model of Bobcat you running with that grapple?

It would be interesting to record the hydraulic pressure umpteen times per second and estimate the uprooting force per tree. With strain gauges along the length of the jaws, the point of contact could be estimated. That and the jaw closure angle could be used to estimate the diameter of the tree.
What kind of bales are you making and what do you move them with?
I’m going to be making 4 by 5 round bale, wheat and prairie mix. I move them with a John Deere 5525 that has a back spike as well as the front ones.
Wonder how long the whole process took?
About 15 minutes or so.

SO BASICALLY YOU'RE DIGGING IT OUT MORE THAN PULLING IT OUT. CAN USE A STUMP BUCKET TO DO THAT
Hell yeah we just got a new bobcat (first time operator and owner) and we are waiting on our intimidator to come in for dickens Texas mesquites

Great job you are already a great machine operator, thank your teacher and keep passing on the skill. This is how many of us learn from example. I just need a a skid my compact tractor 47hp does not have enough strength or fwd aux hydraulics. Great video
