Bro you mixing is all over the place, and this is considered a how to tutorial 🙄

Top tip: every time you make an adjustment on the platter (whether it is fast or slow), you should always re-adjust the pitch slightly to compensate for the slight difference in speed. Otherwise your record will always drift away.

Just for the record I'm using Jamstix 4.4.6 and all is well on Win 10 (latest version May24) within Ableton 12. One oddity, is that if I've saved an Ableton project and come back to it - and start that project say a day later - Jamstix sometimes doesn't kick in - but if I go to the relevant track and open up the Jamstix plugin, it starts. probably me, possibly a setting somewhere? If I sort it - I'll come back.

Guys pitch bend. You need to slow the platter with your finger or speed it up you don’t just leave it like that I’ll do a video if anyone wants I beat match up to 220 BPM you need to ither tap the player gently or finger on the record and speed it up gently and learn the toutch and bass only one one track then switch over having bass up with two tracks sounds horrible they step over each other and blow sound systems. I’ll teach anyone just reply I’ll make a video

The music selection is so raw , so authentic. I wouldn't call that Tech house , that is progressive ,dark , techno-y. But so deep and profound. It has that John Digweed type of sound , Guy J to name a few. The sound is neither popular - commercial neither too rough and hard as it is nowadays again amongst the techno scene. This is the perfect golden middle , danceable , mystic , good tempo , journey type of presentation. Slower developing rather than the quick transition, slow transitions are the for the masterful and musically adept and gifted types of people. Passion is one thing - this is commitment to detail. It feels like grounding the ego. Thank you for this set , in this day and age , 2024 you should be even more active to deliver your authentic and unique approach and sound. Them old cats are something else. Anyone born in the 1960's and early to mid 1970's and is still a dj ,djing throughout the years is a complete gem and a human library of musical selections. Usually people like him inspire me.

I've never managed to find one of those solder suckers but your the 2nd person i've seen with one. Where did you buy it? Do you need to do the quartz lock mod by snipping the resistor and perhaps removing the orange wire in order to get smooth response around the zero click area of the pitch fader or is removing the ball and spring enough? You know what i mean when trying to beat match near to the click it always has a funny spot where the speed goes in the wrong direction for a mm or so of travel.

Phenomenal tutorial! I’m definitely not a fan of those who black out their records labels and gate-keep tracks they didn’t even produce, that doesn’t help any dj. If someone likes a track let them know what it is so they can hear it again. Unless it’s their track they produced, I think it’s selfish behavior.
