The de-humidifier tip makes sense. It is humid except for winter months so yes get one. In the hotel you never think of this. Even Stanley Park in VNC has bigger trees than in H.K. Never knew about no cloths dryers. No wonder vlogs have cloths hanging in the apt. Good vlog and tips. Thanks.

By that I mean, people who do not have HK or china card or digital permit, etc. Just curious, because I saw your passport has the electronic version so thought you may be referring to all foreigners passport (at that time). let me know what you think (to the best of your knowlegde), no worries if you don't know. Do you know if it's possible to bring an empty suitcase into Costco so I can put my items inside? I saw one in your video, but just curious if you saw more. Otherwise I don't have a good way to really stock up on things. 😂 I'm planning to go there this week. Also, do you know if you can you pay with a foreign credit card, like a Visa card from the US. I'm disappointed that it doesn't have more authentic Chinese food. It appears to be more like any other Costco with some Asian flavors mixed with regular Costco products. Even the food court is lacking. Only real Chinese product seems to be the bean soup.

We've been to Yunnan and Lijiang back in 1998 we like it very much indeed also Huangshan and many other cities in China.

Right now French, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch citizens from their counties and living in HK no need China visa can get the High speed train and aeroplane to China and stay for 15 days visa free.

I go to Costco for the spacious relaxed shopping. I hope with time people get to enjoy that aspect too.

I really don’t know who can afford these newer apartments, I’m guessing it’s all these boomers that trade properties between each other. Like who has 20, 30 million lying around? it has to be from people selling their houses between each other so the market is totally not real

I just took another trip on china hi-speed rail to guangzhou. The ticket scanning on passport actually works. in West Kowloon stations you can scan in 2 hrs before you departure. Just make sure you see your train on your departure board otherwise manually check in . In other mainland stations its times are posted tighter like 1 hr to 45 min to scan in

Lived the crazy luxury expat live 15 years ago at DB. One week ago I came back from HK for the first time in 7 years. I showed HK to my daughter, 12 yrs, I am strongly thinking of going back in Feb. I feel so crazy at home in HK, I love love love this city. What I plan now for the future, when my daughter is older and going her own way more and more, is to find a place and stay one month a year to leave grey gloomy winter in Holland to be home again. I will go and follow u’r video and insta. And … give HK a kiss for me 😁😀☺️
