I bought a similar cake at Sam's Club and it reminded me of strawberry shortcake only better. One of the best cakes I've ever had. What's great is that the cake is not dry, like normal cakes, but it's moist due to soaking it with the milk and cream. YUM!

That’s a hell of a lot of corn starch in the custard , looks like Choux pastry, I’d use more egg yolks n loose the custard powder n add some vanilla bean

So I cut it in less sections and used an egg wash, still trying to get it "done", still seems a bit doughy....I'll keep trying until I perfect it! I don't mind eating all the failed attempts...it's puff pastry & nutella after all😁
