Ahhh I know what this is. I ran into this a couple times myself, luckily…. It’s very easy. The (2) I believe 1/2 bolts on the side of the sector shaft brace bearing is loose, when you turn as the sector shaft brass spins the pitman arm it actually move the bearing. Unfortunately I had to install a very thick washer and red lock right to mine to prevent this from happening again. I hope my diagnosis is right! Make your life easier!
I installed one a few weeks ago on my 22 diesel and same thing. Removed. Regreased noise still there. Synergy said to me. Buy the sealed bearing. $100. Not the price issue but why ? Why do I need to buy something extra ? It’s a brand new truck and brand new brace /shaft brace !!
I've just run into this too. From the high of no death wobble to the low of this terrible noise. I don't care if it is a jeep...not going to listen to this creaking forever
I acually figured out my issue hope it works for you too. I noticed those two bolts by bearing one in front one in back think like 12mm were both loose even with blue loctite so I'm gonna use red this time. Sound is gone thank God
@@Steve-ng1hq I know I'm months late to this, but same here - Every few months mine starts making this noise and those little bolts are stretched out. So annoying, and Steer Smarts says "Huh, never heard of this before."
@tjb3401 FYI, keep an eye on 42 mm. Also, mine came loose adding more knocking noise. You would think they would at least add lock washers and stronger bolts. Frustrating for sure

Squeezing noise? That’s binding. Something is misaligned or over/under torqued

The sound goes away when bolts tightened up for bearing bracket? Was the sound coming from inside the cab or out, hard to tell from the video?

I just notice mine started doing same thing. Always something. Gonna take apart see wtf is wrong
