You missed a huge facet of this problem. Both sides see the other as authoritarian. It isn't just the woke seeing maga that way. Maga seeks woke the same way. There are a lot of heavy handed government policies and misuse of public resources that are being shoved down magas throat, like it or not.

We have lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Guatemala...plan on checking out many places in South America, with Argentina being high on our list. We may not ever buy a house, as we like being able to pick up and move if and when we want to. We are retired, so long flights are no big deal. We speak Spanish. We are used to noise. And we think Milei may be great for Argentina...in the long run. We plan to stay at least 3 months in each city- BA, Mendoza, Salta, Mar Del Plata, Bariloche, and Ushuaia.
