What about having h pylori and gerd .. does it cause sinus issues , headache and getting sensitive to smoke and strong smells?

I have that last aspect of causes of non allergic rhinitis, esp change of weather, environment, I get irritated by cold winds, strong scents, smoke , suffocating in areas of little air etc , ve to use antihistamines

i managed to stick my nose in a barrel of some kind of chemical, i got a good dose of it before the pain set in. im pretty sure it jacked up the mucus membrane. i understand those who sniff cocaine could end up doing the same.

Absolutely pointless, another American who loves the sound of their own voice Absolutely no solution to this major issue

I know many non Americans who love the sound of their own voice. She is very informative. This is the best explanation I have ever heard on NAR. There isn't always a solution to a problem. Even in health.

Navy Shit no, I had turbinate reductions during a septoplasty so I think thats what caused my rhinitis. I was considering jaw surgery, but after seeing all the side effects i was too scared to go ahead with it. Did it make your nose wider too?

Yet another video talking about symptoms and causes but not the treatment options. Such a waste of time. My rhinitis is clearly weather-related but I wasn’t always like this. It started after a particularly nasty and prolonged cold in my mid 20s. The stuffiness, on and off, never went away. It gets much worse before each rain, snow squall, sudden dip in temperature and in winter months overall. So, if it started as a cold, what exactly is the underlying cause? Not every Cold leads to chronic rhinitis. She doesn’t mention any of that and without knowing the root cause, I think it’s not possible to find a treatment . Or do I have to assume this condition is untreatable? Doctor, if you really want to help people, share your experience treating your patients; less experienced ent doctors might watch your video and learn something; people like us would discuss your options with their doctors.

My son’s ent misdiagnosed his rhinitis as allergic even though allergy meds don’t help and tests are negative. Here in Canada it is extremely difficult to get a second opinion, so we are left in limbo, with no treatment. My heart is bleeding when I see how much he is suffering and nobody cares. he can’t sleep properly, his nose is blocked almost completely What is the point of this video if she is not talking about solutions.

Hi Julia... I see you had written this 3 years ago and I am hoping your son is feeling better, I am suffering from very similar symptoms. When I did suffer from it a few years ago, I felt significantly better after taking homeopathy medicines. I am going to take them again as probably the symptoms have come back. But as you might have heard that Homeo medicines do not cause any undue side effects. And I also know almost none of the allopaths recognize homeo solution because they don't mostly understand, they are not open, or they don't care enough or it is a combination. Nevertheless, you may want to try homeo medicines for your son. As a sympathetic father, I know how much it hurts when a child is going through such things. I hope and wish he (and all children) lives a significantly better life.
