People will stop going to Dollar Tree if they keep it up. 5 and Below was my favorite until it became 5-10-15-20. I can play that game at Walmart.

They’re combining Dollar General with Dollar Tree since Dollar Tree is the parent company and Dollar General is flailing miserably with stores being closed and they have to shift the merchandise. Unless Dollar Tree goes back to their roots, I predict they’ll be just a memory by 2026.

I won't shop at Dollar Tree anymore. I'm sick of the price gouging. Walmart has school supplies cheaper then 1.25 And I can find some food items for 97 cents. I'm doing all my shopping there now. They can choke on their prices!

We have a similar sale in Japan for Duracel batteries, but I ended getting the Kirkland brand since they were cheaper and had 45 batteries vs Duracel 40 batteries.

Don't forget the websites and apps. Costco is still in the 1990's with their website. Sam's Club you can order online and pick up. Also Costco is starting to treat their customers like crap. I just tried Sam's Club scan and go app, and that saved me a LOT of time and was completely painless as I skipped the checkout lines (and it was a BUSY day), showed my phone and was thanked as I walked out the door.
