I guess if The Half Engine did claim Gordon as her newest victim in the original story, I'd say she would've done it due to Gordon being a naysayer.
For Showdown, you should have: Diesel 10 as Mayor West Stepney as Bertram Rosie as Penelope Wilbert as Seth By Wilbert, I mean Wilbert the Forest Engine.
Wouldn't it make sense to have Topham Hatt and Awdry instead of Adam West and Seth?
Well, my first idea for a Showdown: Thomas mix was to have Awdry as Seth, but he would've already been corrupted by the time Thomas is to go to The Inbetween. And as for the Mayor West role, I gave it to Diesel 10 cause I wanted Thomas to fight his worst enemy.
