Pretty funny that Walt Disney built the whole park in 1 year but re-theming Splash Mtn, an existing attraction, is taking 16 months or more.

I really hope a good amount of attractions will be open by at least April of May of next year! My family and I are planning a big family trip for my 30th birthday next year, and we’re hoping we can at least go on Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, and/or Small World. Honestly, those are our top favorites haha

Neither. Ferris wheels terrify me. It’s dumb, because I can ride roller coasters going 100 mph upside down, zigzag, loop, twist, you name it. The last Ferris wheel I actually rode was the Pixar Pal Around (it was still Mickey’s Fun Wheel at the time). I have ALWAYS hated Ferris wheels, but come reason I got it in my head that a Disney one would be okay. I knew better than to get in one of the swinging cars, but I thought a stationary one would be fine. I ended up sitting on the floor, not crying, but I definitely had tears in my eyes. My friend was laughing at me. I sat there holding the hand of a woman I’d never met, because her family had convinced her to go in it even though she hated them also. Her husband and kids giggle along with friend. I don’t know what it is. There must be something about that particular motion that messes with my equilibrium that makes it scary for me. 😂
