Gi Jiu Jitsu Is BETTER For Self Defense
I agree with the three kicks he mentions here, all are quick and effective kicks with a little training. But the most important tip I can give for kicking is DON"T THROW THEM COLD! Always use them in combination, as a counter, or following a misdirect. If I can make my opponent watch my hands I can land kicks all day long even at my age.
Don't give up!
Obese dude manages to lose the fight to a wheelchair user! WOW! Totally dangerous!!!
I live in Texas. I got some from Milspin. Milspin Limited Edition. They are made out brass. I got a set of these too. I have them Coyote to match my Glock 19X
Guy in the wheel chair tries to get the police gun!! The cop just gives up and accepts his fate!
He didn't manage to escape but he may be able to get people to loot some cities because of him
Yeah that's what happened
Self-defence ciminatic universe continues😂

I don't disagree with anything that you two said. I'll add the obvious, which is that his core strength was really lacking and that led to a lot of his problems. I'm not sure I 100% agree that he "gave up." Depending on what is happening off camera and what he knows about where his partner is, I'm not sure that -- once he loses all grip on the gun (at about 0:25 the guy wrenches it free and half stands up) -- it doesn't make more sense for him to lean back and clear the line of fire for his partner. Its hard to tell if that's what he's intending or if he's just cowering. But there is a hypothetical logic in the decision that says "I've lost the battle for the gun, I'm out-of-shape and on my back. I'm not able to readily re-connect/re-grapple before the bad guy brings the gun to bear...my best hope now is my partner. I see he's there (off camera) ready to shoot, so the best thing I can do is to help him by getting clear." Its hard to tell from the footage though and that's a lot of speculation on my part though. Generally, I defer to Mike's read.
I agree 100% that his physical shape played a major factor in how this played out. We didn’t want to just tear him apart in this video, but I don’t think we needed to point out the obvious. As mentioned, other factors played a big role in this outcome, but being in good physical shape would have made a major difference
You have to talk about the elephant in the room. If he'd spent more time in the gym and less time in the diner, he'd have handled himself properly. He pitched over the top because he was massively top heavy. He couldn't stand up because he was top heavy. Yes, getting older sucks, but failure with a good excuse is not the same as success.
I agree with you. We didn’t feel the need to rip the man apart on what everyone will clearly see but ultimately yes, being in good physical shape would have made a big differencr
lol i was reading the comments before watching the video and I was thinking MAN these people get real rough on icy mike lol haha what are their standards even
Fuuuuu that guy was lucky...
Icey mike sighting :-)
Of course!!
Most people dont kick because easy to slip and get taken down. You on grass, on wet pavement, gravel? Better to not kick unless you know if you slip you can get back up fast
Option 3 is a terrible choice. You are giving up a ton of control just to hope your opponent makes a mistake
I spent 5 min tryna figure out if it was Anthony smith
The most effective first defense against the hold and stab is the "jab" And "straight". Modern arnis practitioner here from the Philippines. Just a boxing jab and straight is all you need and run or grab some improvised weapon.
Movies do a lot of damage on martial arts enthusiasts.
Bruh you just killed your rollin partner 💀
ive seen knife fights in person and people stabbed... unfortunately nothing is really going to help you and your best bet if you can't run away is to just try and protect yourself and disarm or still try to run. Its fucking heavy stuff
why would you ignore a child yelling "Help"?
I teach my child to do these and noone help us wen we got kidnapped
"Expeshulee"
And then one day in a fit of anger in public, they yell that at you because you said they couldn't have (or do) a thing they really wanted, and you get to explain that to the cops and everyone within earshot who is now videotaping you as a potential kidnapper. :P It's still a good safety tip, but kids are devious is all I'm saying...
My son is seven and hes allowed to swear. Always has been and because of that and this ive seen it work. Creeper talking about come get in my hummer and my son yells DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME PEDO
I'm the 911th like...
That makes more sense yesss sir I would great idea
This is why I say my kids can curse.
As a minor i belive this is amazing advice
wtf is this stuff y’all are saying about screaming FIRE? Seems to me that would get people to run away
My dad always taught me to scream "fire".
I appreciate the tip but i had to laugh at "its not common for children to use vulgar language like this'
I was taught to throw fire into the mix. Self-preservation is typically people's strongest thing. Usually people look towards the sound to try and see where the fire is.
If you teach them vulgar language than they will use in the wrong context
Scream fire and everyone will not only look but pull out their phones now what’s that say about society because I’m gonna be real, I’m not shocked at all when kids are nothing but disrespectful mouthpieces these days (there’s kids bullyiotger kids to death like ya swearing is nothing to them )and as someone who’s been in child care for 20+ years I’ve heard it all. But from a fire fighter everyone will look with a simple word FIRE ! Human nature apparently to rubberneck, who would have guessed.
This is what I've taught all my kids, the key here though is that you cant punish your kids for using cuss words cause they will never feel comfortable enough to use them in an emergency situation if they think they are going to get in trouble
Fire instead of help, along with cussing.
my kids on thier way to say racial slurs:
Swearing honestly should be normalized. I don't get why it's considered so rude, when it can be used to everyday language as a filler or to connect two phrases together. It also a great way to express yourself in a manner that is non-violent or physical. Of course you shouldn't yell or swear at people in anger, unless in an emergency situation or soemthin'
that's definitely something i'd do, i've never even though about it but it's really smart.
Middle schoolars would disagree. But i was taught to scream and kick and hit or whatever but also bite, i have a very strong jaw and can make someone bleed alot from one bite.
Or just "i don't know you!"
Very true
Children swear alot now lmao. You just dont get out much if you dont hear it a lot. Women have multiple baby daddies as well now so the kid sayign "youre not my dad" doesnt really mean shit because a lot of kids say that to their stepdads
Im glad I grew up in a time where no adult would try to abduct you but they might try to slap the piss outta you.
This is what my father taught us girls. Works a treat.
I'm from germany and here parents often teach their kids to not scream help because a lot of kids do that while playing but to scream fire. People will check for a fire and see the child needing help
Maybe 10 years ago yeha have you heard the average year 6 I’m sorry they use it more than normal English
that's actually such a good point. kids scream all the time for no reason, so... yeah. get your kid to say fuck and they'll probably be much safer.
Master sensei may you please tell me how to defence myself against 3or4 people who suddenly attack me please 🙏🏻🙏🏻tell me
