Can TOTALLY relate; dropped bike 6 weeks ago. Delayed hospital visit for 3 weeks....because I'm a dude. Dr. today: herniated L5-S1 spinal disc, torn rotator cuff. The how: I'm at a gas station, OFF the bike- walking it, slipped on some oil. Picking bike up solo was THE issue. (TECHNIQUE is everything!) FWIW: haven't dropped a bike in over 40 years; I've been riding 44 this Sept. I'm 68, great shape....but it still kicked my ass; surgeries scheduled in 3 weeks. The culprit: -87 BMW K75C/550#

Yes your right in my battalion they bolted hooks over that lever so the privateswould not do that the spec 4 and above knew better then to do that on the 929 I know its a no no but on the 817 and multi fuel not sure that is correct .

These guys are great because they keep the population of cicadas down. I have some in my yard this year and there are definitely not as many cicadas as there would be normally. It's a shame that people mistake them for hornets and get scared of them because they aren't aggressive at all. One correction: they only paralyze the cicadas with their stings because if they actually killed it its body would rot before the larva could eat it.
