Yes, this way what’s dirty stays wrapped and sealed and odor is controlled. New rolls come with new rods and caps - and we make the disposable bits with paper and 80% less plastic than before, too.
You throw out the end caps?
This is such an enviromental waste. Pads are not biodegradable and if they say they are thinner than normal pads people use that's still a waste cuz more square feet of pad is used.
Your math doesn't compute. BrilliantPad is more absorbent than regular pads and each section of exposed pad can be used multiple times. Plus you can advance the BrilliantPad roll as needed, and BrilliantPad users typically use less with BrilliantPad than regular puppy pads.

BrilliantPad Smart can advance automatically. You can choose how many dog visits trigger the roll up, or set a timer to advance at certain times, or use PoopAI to advance after your choice of fresh pees or poops!

My puppy would use that whole roll in 1 day that’s like 30$ no thanks much easier to get the traditional pads and cheaper
Can you make a video for the real rolls that you sell? That aren't self adhesive and are Grey circles instead of these Clear circles? It's confusing when I send people this video since it isn't the actual way the roll is changed.
Would the built up poop and pee inside attract insects and flies? Im worried as well that the poop left in there for a long time would also produce maggots of some kind?
Hello there! We understand your concern about hygiene and cleanliness with BrilliantPad. Rest assured, BrilliantPad is designed to handle waste in a way that minimizes the risk of attracting unwanted pests. Three systems work together to make sure that waste is properly handled. The motor wraps and seals the soiled pad, including both liquids and solids. A barrier lining under each pad provides odor defense #1; the roll ends are capped for odor defense #2; and the entire waste compartment is closed and locked to limit airflow to provide odor defense #3. Most customers report smelling little or nothing, after the roll is wound up, and disposing of a used roll is much easier and cleaner than handling a regular pad. The roll will be filled with tons of old poop and pee all squished inside that roll! Gross! That thing has to reek when you change it! No thanks.

We understand the concern. Heavy users tell us that our pads are more absorbent, can be used multiple times and can be advanced in full or part as needed. So, many folks end up saving money with our rolls vs. regular pads, dog sitters, etc.
My dog goes to war with skate boards and vacuum cleaners... Can't imagine she'd ever use a potty pad again once she sees it move.
Can you send us a video of your dog battling the boards or vacuum? She may not be a candidate for BrilliantPad but I bet she's super cute.
Clearly, this product hasn't been designed for a dog who impulsively digs and shreds the potty pads before using them. I imagine they won't be able to fix it when the roll is no longer in one piece.

Well, I've seen it all now. LOL How does this help with house training your dog? Will this deter the dog from wanting to go outside? I just came across this product after inquiring if there is an automatic potty for dogs. I know they have it for cats. Concept is interesting, but is it practical?

That’s a big roll... plus a camera that watches your house I don’t think so..
The camera is aimed squarely at the puppy pad... so you can see what's left behind... if the pad needs to be changed... or if your pup is sick. When your vet asks, "When did this begin?" you can provide information to help him get better.

It would be nice if the machine automatically cleared the poor after the dog was finished and exited the platform. My dog tends to eat his own poo, so I'm guessing that tendency would continue if it just sat there for even a minute or two afterwards.
That’s not an all-dog problem, just your dog. Give him bananas. He won’t like the smell of his poop with bananas so he won’t eat it
