LOL! Smart
well, at least until you realize the overspeed on the exhaust fan caused a short in your motherboard.
Kai Cenat's arcade cabinets
Anyone else creeped out by how well timed the cameras movement was with Lisa's I shifting?
I played a lot of this at my local Pizza Hut. I bought a real machine on Ebay for over $1000.
Ah, I would be overjoyed if I could come across and play one of these original Simpsons cabinets one day.
What happened to Part 2 & part 3
Hello Chris do you still have this machine?
Hi - do you still have this? If so I was wondering if the boardset has a small PCB attached via a ribbon cable, it would be on the bottom one in the set usually. These supported 'com link' to allow multiple to be chained together but it uses a small interface PCB that I'm unable to find so far. If I can find just one, I'll reproduce them so people can link cabinets again.
Is this using the stock factory hdd or are you using a hacked version? Exactly which motherboard model and brand? A bit more info would be nice :-)
It's using the stock drive with the original ultimate upgrade disc, copy drivers needed to the harddrive using another PC and when you run it windows will try to install the new drivers before launching the game.
@@christophorusvids I assume you need a dongle to allow ultimate to play? I have 2 of these cabinets and would like to upgrade them for home use. But cannot find the dongles to buy.
@@wildchild6340 I do have the ultimate dongle connected to the parallel port the game came that way but I thought someone had a work around for it.
@@christophorusvids Would you mind listing the motherboard you are using. As I am trying to get my 2nd machine fixed and it needs a new motherboard.😊
And?
Great vid!
Absolutely beautiful cabinet and game.
THE PERCECT NO EXIST...
I remember playing this game at a comic shop in 1991 and had a lot of fun with it. I've played it in MAME and it's not the same without the steering wheel & shifter. I'd like to get my own cabinet some day or just the PCB and build a driving game cabinet that I could swap out multiple boards into since I have some already like Speed Buggy. Very nice video. If you do another video on Big Run, can you do one of yourself playing it some more? Maybe with less glare, but I appreciate the effort you put in already. Would a Cisco Heat by Jaleco be easily swappable into the cabinet or would some changes be needed like the power supply, etc?
This game had a 4 board stack in a cage and was a nightmare to work on and repair. Its probably the reason they are not common because they are hard to fix. This game was sold to a local collector who was also a big fan.
Does Artic Thunder have any force feedback?
Did you have to use the videocard due to security issues?
Genial maquina cuanto costará una así
I just got this in the deluxe cabinet the 42inch screen and it’s doing this. Was it the power supply?
Which model of computer do you have in yours? The Dell usually has bad capacitors around the cpu
@@christophorusvids it’s some kind of Dell. The tech came out to me today and took the pedestal with the computer and boards to fix it so I’ll find out in the next day or 2 what the issue is.
First! Great work, Chris!
Thanks, there is alot to this game, it can be a challenge to work on
@@christophorusvids For sure! That's massive!!!
that is pretty dope if original
Certainly looks like it
Can you elaborate on the processor change specifics? I have two of these linked and it definitely looks like the framerate is higher here.
In this one I'm using an Intel SL65R Pentium 4 Northwood, you need a board with AGP and IDE
Awesome Game! Looks great!
Thanks. It's a great machine!
good game.
Not worth it for around 500 dollars plus this arcade the buttons don’t make sense the way they lined them up pass for me
Where can you find a working Simpsons arcade cabinet for 500????
@Bubbs well then I would say even an arcade1up Simpsons cabinet is definitely worth 500 bucks seeing as they are now pricing those things at 700. And from what I've seen of that thing the button layout seems pretty standard.
loved playing this at my mall arcade back in the day the boss fights were awesome
Good editing, you got all the sexy angles.
I will get some better angles when I load it on the truck to move it!
@@christophorusvids can we play test it before u see it go? i'll bring some quarters
@@andrewlee88 games here are on Freeplay! Maybe we can live stream some races
The bikes are like the ones upstairs in Mack's Amusements Bundoran Co Donegal. Here I am on the Manx TT Superbike upstairs in the Bowling Alley in Bundoran Co Donegal. czcams.com/video/kDYMvVhjcJA/video.html I am really looking forward to seeing you fixing you Manx TT Superbike up and I can't wait to see it working and I am very excited to see your Manx TT Superbike in Action please?
Nice video, I can't wait to get this game going and play it. The right side looks complete with monitor and boards. The other side will need more work. I think I have found a matching monitor for it but it's going to need work.
@@christophorusvids I agree with you I can't wait to see you getting this game going and I am really excited and looking forward to seeing you playing it by finishing the Laxley Coast Course and the TT Course from start to finish followed by the Credits please? Which could be an idea that when the Manx TT Superbike came back to Strandhill Amusements Co Sligo in August 2006 the sound was gone off it and there was only sound of the Motorbike on the right side when you put €1 into Manx TT Superbike but the €1 Coin wouldn't go into the Manx TT Superbike because it was damaged by people putting paper clips into the Coin slot for free Rides and a child broke the handle bar of the Motorbike on the right side. On the motorbike on the left side there was a green button and a yellow button on the right side. In September 2009 you couldn't see the screens right and the Manx TT Superbike got all damaged in May 2010 and the Manx TT Superbike had to be taken back to the Almo Tec the company of Arcade Games in Tuam Co Galway and the Byrnes never got a new Manx TT Superbike to replace the old one in Strandhill Co Sligo and the Manx TT Superbike in Strandhill Co Sligo was a different model compared Perks, Youghal South East Cork and Galway is half the distance from Strandhill Co Sligo 4 hours down to Cork in Ireland.
Awesome Video!
Thanks! I gotta start working on the next one!
I like this game, so many years of Sega. 💙
My childhood, this arcade game brings to Chuck E Cheese, one of my favorite cartoon show.
Is it weird to say Why is this on my recommendation?
Not sure why, these are videos I make after repairing customers machines
@@christophorusvids I see ;) probably youtube algorithm messed up then.
@@tong3059 yes it's strange my stuff does not usually get many views just the customers
Hi, can you tell me the part number for a new neck board?
I was buying them from the site arcadecup but checking now it shows sold out,
@@christophorusvids I just saw that as well. Do you repair these?
I have repaired a few, usually they have issues with capacitors, they take several hours to work on compared to other chassis
Childhood.
Remake para switch
Finsihed the game serval times
You made this machine???
These are original machines that have been restored.
@Chris's Arcades Arctic Thunder is perfect for the arcade and Xbox with 60fps!
I never played it on the Xbox but everyone that plays this game says it feels quicker
@@christophorusvids Yeah, but the PlayStation 2 port suffers from downgraded graphics and a terrible/slow framerate and the PlayStation 2 port sucks!
@@RGBtheRhinoOverwatcher I just tried it now 2 years later. Widescreen 16:9 patch enabled & 'Disable interlace offset' on, this game runs in 4K @ 60FPS smooth as butter on PCSX2 Nightly. PS2 emulation definitely worth considering for people who want another option besides original hardware for this game. Also, as of 4 days ago, "Ultimate Arctic Thunder boots in dev only, but is still unstable." on TeknoParrot
Great job buddy
Where did you put the ssd?

Thanks, You still have the Rad Mobile?
@@christophorusvids still do. Pc inside and its turned on like 2x/yr.....
Where is this cabinet located at? Im dying to play this game again
This one sold, it may be easier to buy one than to try to find someone operating it
Did you solve the issue ever?
I had to change the voltage regulator, I got one from arcadecup
Had the same issue on my k7000 although not as bad, full white screens or a picture with a lot of white are using a lot of power so lack of power will cause the screen to Bloom or Flicker.
I have the same problem with my 25". I've recapped, reflowed, changed the VR three times, and new flyback. Nothing has changed. My only other idea is to try another tube, maybe it's the yoke???
Did you ever figure out the issue
It was a few capacitors, once replaced it was fine
Awesome arcade cabinet man. I've almost bought this one a few times. There were not many arcade baseball games that had all the real MLB teams and players. I 've never played it. Is this one of the best ones out there?
How much do u think this game is worth because we have this game and we are thinking about selling it
They seem to go for between 1k and 2k depending on the condition
totally not a furry I will buy it from you !? Let me know please
Just out of curiosity, is this still for sale or sold?
It sold shortly after the video,
@@christophorusvids Awww, bummer. But thanks!
You can actually get a cabinet car the time machine arcade
@I will NOT wear someone else's fear there is no Freeplay mode that I have seen but the easy coinup or coin4up can be added to the cabinet
It's so cool!!!
