It demonstrates how when farmers benefit from trees, they have the incentive to keep growing them, restoring ecosystems and removing carbon from the atmosphere. In a country marked by widespread forest degradation, CommuniTree continues to push the boundaries of wha...

WONDERFUL
Spot on. ! Good for you Emma. Sorry it didn’t work out and the beurocrats destroyed your dream …… however …. I have an answer for you ….
definately Jean :)
Can a bottle wall be sealed well enough to be a shower wall and stay intact over time?
They’re used for exterior walls, so I don’t see why not but you would want to paint the interior concrete walls with something that won’t stain easily and be easy to clean. :)
With the building regulations in Ireland I didn’t think this would be allowed. I’m from Ireland but just finished building a natural house in Thailand but wouldn’t even dream of trying in Ireland because of the regulations.
Semoga misool terus terjaga kelestarian
Salut kepada team Misool Eco Resort raja ampat sudah menjaga alam papua .semoga sukses dan bravo . agar anak cucu bisa kelak dapat melihat alam indonesia yg indah ini dimasa yg akan datang
Molto interessante e istruttivo.

Excellent educative video by Distant Imagery, congratulations
I have always missed out on your courses. The dates seem to catch me out, every time. I am seriously hoping that you wouldn't spring the next dates on your followers.
God bless Andrew and his team for their effort in their conservation to save one of the most beautiful places on the planet. All the sponsors are amazing in their contributions and I hope this video makes everyone that sees it more respectful of what we have and how fragile it is. Together we can all make a change for our environment if not in big ways, in small ones.
YES,GOOD!!!* Maria José Auxiliadora dos Santos e Vicente.
i want dynamite fishing and chop trees and hunting
There was no dynamite fishing in the video : (
I wanted to see some kaboom too. The reefs probably died from other reasons, but why not blame dynamite?
Tokyo? We all know who is the biggest market for shark finning it's China, dare say it!
It’s a generally good video, but who chose the dreadful music?
Yes thanks.
Hi,guys great job for you all need proctetion the island God creations I so humble see you program , thanks guys,⛱️🐟🐟🐠🦈🐬🐦🐢
Very interesting film, but could you add a disclaimer shortly before the parts where finned sharks and turtles being cut up for bait come on? They were very hard to see, and some people might be too squeamish to watch these parts of the film.

Ah I haven't seen this video in so long! Lovely to see everyone, it was such a great team (especially Lucho and Laura and Kristina!). There I am getting muddy at 3m22. Spent about 6 months at Rock Farm, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area :)
This tour was very inspiring and makes so much sense! Time to go back to natural living!
Great video!
Really spectacular or I can say yeoman service to future generation by Andy and his passionate team. One man pure hobby or interest turned into passion and vision of so many native community is so inspiring that would emulate by all in world esp in developed world. Been to Raja Ampet in 2016 North R A Wasise region, n Alas truly fascinated by the bio diversity of the ocean there. It is our obligation to preserve such reef to future generation. My humble request to Indonesian Govt not to allow any commercial activities and to stop population migration into the region. Hats off to one man Andy vision and it makes a huge different to human kind. Hope one day I go there to Misool resort.
Show👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Where do you even find that many glass bottles now? Glass is inert, endlessly recyclable, and made of a dwindling resource (sand).
😬😬
What a wonderful project. Mikoko Pamoja is helping the Gazi community alot.
Beautiful...I’ll take it!
Things like shelter, water, food, sewage treatment, electricity, and recycling are basic human needs. Governments build houses that exploit those needs because you have to pay for water and sewage treatment, as well as food and the packaging it comes in, waste disposal, shelter, and electricity. These things are not free so you are not free, you are a slave. The only way to free yourself from economic slavery is to get real. In the real natural world where money doesn't exist water falls from the sky for free as rain which you can harvest and filter to make as much drinking water as you like, the Sun provides all the free energy and warmth you need all year round, and the sewage you produce is great for making compost and enriching the soil to grow plants in that provide all the food you can eat as well as clean fresh oxygen for you to breath.
Great video. Love the "bottle bricks" One question: do you have to take the labels off? Some videos say yes. Some don't. Just cut in half and tape. Why take labels off?
I really like the windows opening up! Beautiful!
I'm so grateful for people like Andy who have vision and heart and do the seemingly impossible in caring for both people and nature. And hooray for orgs like Conservation International who support these small but extremely powerful grassroots efforts. Andy comments that he is a guest in Raj Ampat and lives accordingly -- we would do well to remember that each of us is a guest on this spectacular planet, and act accordingly. The shark finning makes me sick - the carcasses, the live turtle bait, the animals killed and discarded as useless - all of it is heartbreaking
Shannon, yes...and what's also great is the way Andy's project has bridged a way of successfully running a business that aligns with ecosystems. This alignment is what matters to us, from holistic tourism projects like Misool to Carbon Balancing with indigenous forests and peoples...
My heart is dying and i am extremely sad for those sharks and other sea creatures killed and die...😞😟
Hope he continues to do well.
I want to go on this course! This is the dude I’m going to learn from. I’m from Sierra Leone and he is uniquely experienced to teach what I’m after❤️🇸🇱❤️🏴
Living in Harmony with our Earth ! Who would have thought it possible ? Living simply so that others may simply live . Awesome work guys . Lovely home .
I wonder if those carbon offsets are supposed to be permanent, and what portion of the certificate cost goes to the local communities. I also wonder what the relative activity values are; e.g.., carbon credits for rangeland management versus afforestation. (MRV on that scale must be difficult.) Mongolia has a policy objective of increasing agricultural production 30% by 2030, and 80% of agricultural production is currently from livestock. So, it's hard to see how that fits with their environmental objective to decrease livestock numbers to meet carrying capacity, which is about half the current population.
Mangrove is key for protecting Biodiversity but also to prevent from tsunami or sea storm as well!
I found very insetting approach benefit and necessary to help people of good will to protect Forests. It is very important to plant trees but protecting Forests is crucial!
Insetting is an approach for the Future. Insetting is really win win approach and benefit for the planet! we perfectly that Fuel is in its end!
Amazing what you do for Save Our Seas.......i learn and inspirations for my island Nusalaut / Maluku....Thanks
Respect! What a huge never ending amount of work and... the reward it deserves! Very inspiring. Thank you!
Historynet will be mentioning your name in the future Andrew! This poor Nurdan Firat will pray for you & your team, ever. I was in Triton Bay recently. I had couple of times dive with Lisa and her team...
Pay the poor a little some thing to encourage them to stay chained to being poor by not utilizing the huge advantages of using a gallon of fuel to duplicate the effort that takes three men and a woman all day to duplicate. These do gooders will jet off to the far corners of the world to instruct the 'poor uneducated natives' - 'HOW TO DO IT' as some Phd. wielding geek has thus instructed these striving undergraduates, hoping for a shot at some serious Grant Money. Fumbling students continue to be unwitting drones and ultimately hope to write their own thesis and become comfortably tenured Phd. It is noteworthy though, a tenured professorship is not so well paid as the Universities coaches of the various sports teams these bastions of higher learning field. Wonder what the carbon foot print of a stadium game of foot ball is. The wonderful scent of nature, freshly groomed Astro turf, two teams, 45,00 fans avidly commuting to willingly pack themselves into a giant sardine tin, ah well - carry on - delusions of delight.
