What a contrast from the UK stadium.,wimbliy stadium. Bad experience there. Extremely narrow road, over populated, bad transport link and stress. We were late there due to huge levels of traffic, roadworks, train strike and lack of parking. Surely those people could have planned before building it? Looked like a poor place

The stadiums in Serie A are the worst. Spain, Germany, France and England have far better stadiums. Serie A needs to modernise its infrastructure.

The spectacular island location and seaside scenery is obviously what makes this stadium stand out!

Looks like the new stand just cheaped out pretending it’s preserving heritage. The stand doesn’t cover the fans properly and could have easily been extended across the full width of the side of the stadium. It also has roof support posts blocking a lot of fans view of the pitch.

😢 what a joke they demolished first Maracana a legendary stadium and replaced with a smaller and cheaper one however Delle Alpi was one of the most beautiful stadiums of Italy and they've replaced it with a even smaller and uglier stadium.

Assurdo aver fatto demolire uno stadio così bello e affascinante che tra l'altro aveva una capienza superiore a quello attuale.

Fun fact : There is ' another' Stadium of Light too. Benfica's home ground, Estadio Du Luz, is technically the stadium of light like SAFC when you translate it into english from Portuguese.

I would of been put in south africa back in 2013 though a skank left my life behind for literal 10 years

I remember, as a Glaswegian, meeting my friend who was studying nursing at the RVI. We arranged to meet in a pub beside the stadium in the mid 90's. I will never forget this huge construction coming into view and how it dwarfed it's surroundings. Being a Celtic supporter, I was used to seeing magnificence on a grand scale, but this was still impressive for a football ground.
