DON’T Do These Things at a Red Light
Watch the first video clip carefully and see if you can find all the things a did wrong when stopping at the red light.
Red lights and intersections are one of the most dangerous places for motorcycle riders. With the number of distracted drivers on the road, getting rear ended or side swiped at an intersection is a real concern. If you are new to motorcycle riding or have never taken a safety course, do you know what you should and shouldn't be doing at a red light?
In this video, I will go over some common mistakes that motorcycles can make at a red light. This includes proper gear selection, foot placement, use of brakes, use of mirrors, and a few other tips. Watch until the end and I will break down the things I did wrong. Let me know how many you were able to spot!
As mentioned, here is a link to the clutch control video I referenced: czcams.com/video/odMxACYY5I4/video.html

I think everyone can agree that a motorcycle helmet is the most important piece of safety equipment. The second most important piece of equipment is up for debate. Airbag vests are excellent at protecting the torso and spine, but they haven't been universally adopted by street riders. Proper motorcycle boots and riding pants can help prevent injuries to the lower extremities. But, I would argue...
$1 vs $100 Tire Pressure Monitoring System

What's more effective - a $1 tire pressure gauge or a $100 tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)? In this video, I will be setting up and reviewing the FOBO Bike 2 TPMS. In the old days, the only way to check your tire pressure was to use a cheap tire pressure pen gauge. Technology has since come a long way with TPMS system becoming more and more common on vehicles. Most modern cars will have ...

I can't believe how quickly this last year has gone by! I've had plenty of time to ride my Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro and wanted to give you a run down of all the positive and negative ownership aspects I have encountered. These are the things you won't necessarily hear about in the "first ride" style videos. I'll start by talking about the general features and comfort of this motorcycle. The...

Never used my pinky finger to scratch my ear 😂
Dude literally bought that bike just to get it in front of cameras
Oh my god another wannabe influencer with the most captain obvious post
I dont need my index but iam never loosing my middle finger becuz its more important
only superbike rider can relate to
No safety gear going on your phone stalling stopping over the line and many more
I have 17" TEAC tires on a 350cc bike. Still alive so obviously fit for purpose 😂
Or learn how to fall safely
*and. Not or.
Don't let your foot peg catch your bootstrap, you will fall down like an idiot!
Happened to a friend of mine right in front of me, but it was his pant leg. I couldn't help but laugh 😅
Lol, get you a quad lock.... and learn your friction zone 😅 newbie
First i need to purchase this bike
I don't want my hand to slide it can send me in a roller coaster ride after falling
My desert X actually doesn’t have a full gauge but has a number of KM remaining which I find somewhat reliable since it goes up and down constantly depending upon how you are riding the bike. I can ride very soft and it would show me 50km left and the gun it on highway and now switches to 15km left.
I don't even have a sports bike 😅
Bro I want another finger for this challenge 😂
You shifted down in a improper manner in our community by doing *clutch in downshift 2 times clutch out* and you don't need to be in neutral at a stop stay in 1st and clutch off when you wanna go next hands on the bars not ur phone and dont stall ur bike or destroy your boots by putting your feet down before stopping
Check it out. When I stop behind the stop line, in the left turn lane, my bike don't trigger the light to change. If I stop a little past, it triggers the light
That's interesting, I can barely get lights to trigger, but I am mostly on a small, light bike. What do you ride?

right pinky, im gaming
Well I saw the entire video lol
My grandpa got tinnitus from working in the timber industry. He straight up said to me that the tinnitus caused him more misery than his spine cancer. Don’t fuck around.
Is there anything he's doing right? I mean i guess he didnt run the red
Nope! Full answer in this video: czcams.com/video/PiUNgaHz7rI/video.html
Sold me….getting this
Nice, I've found it to be super convenient so far.
Love mine! Got it new for $13,999….end of year close out
You got a 1200 Rally Pro for that much!? That's an amazing deal!! Like $10k off of list.
Bro i just lost ny thumb then this video comes by the algorithm
That's wild
middle finger so i cant do bad things
Wanna see barefoot riders? Go to brasil
Seems likey you're the only one exaggerating this
Great!
a licence plate
👍👍👍
I think you need to have your knowledge adjusted about the pencil pressure gauges. They're as reliable as any electronic device, it's a question of looking after them as any other tool. Get a quality pencil, keep it in a protective sleave and youre perfectly fine
Fair. I'm just lazy and don't want to check my pressure all the time
dude needs to come to india😂
1. No proper gear 2. Stopping on the cross walk 3. Using your phone/Taking hands off the bike 4. Stalling the bike when it's finally green
Nice! There are a few more things too - full discussion in this video: czcams.com/video/PiUNgaHz7rI/video.html
If we are both handed
Another reason to get a Honda CBR 1000RR-R
Nah i cant play games anymore if i choose middle
Standing at traffic lights in neutral gear is not wrong. If your reaction time is too high to get out of dangerous situations, you should not ride a motorcycle. If they tell you this in training sessions, I would look for better training. Waiting with the clutch pulled brings almost no speed advantage and only wears out the clutch springs and the release bearing more quickly
no one spotted there is no plate
I need my middle finger, but I am not gonna say for what
9
Counted 11 im sure theres more
No number plate.

Old BMW's used a friction damper
Yeah no I took a ride the other day on a Yamaha vstar650 I believe stock exhaust. And used a cheaper bell full face helmet it was not that loud at all

Yup!
"In gear" at a red light - I've heard conflicting opinions on this (ps, I've NEVER ridden a motorbike - YET - I'm here to learn!). The consensus appears to be IN FIRST whilst stopped, ready to move OUT of harms way. I've seen a UK police training video, in which they refer to the "Hendon Shuffle" (left foot / right foot), left foot down whilst right foot operates the brake, but you "shuffle" feet (always keeping one on the ground) to operate the gear selector. They opt for NEUTRAL, rationale being IF you are hit from behind (whilst in gear) you will likely lose grip on the clutch and wrist-flick the accelerator as YOU depart backwards from the bike, potentially leaving a runaway bike (in gear under power) for which you are responsible for the damage it does. In both cases I've been rear ended in a car there was no opportunity for evasion, I imagine a bike would be similar (albeit an injury instead of several thousand dollars in crash repairs). Considering purchasing a Honda XR150L as my first ever bike :)
Thanks for the comment. There is more opportunity for evasion on a motorcycle since it is smaller and more more narrow. You can plan an escape route ahead of time and stop closer to one side of the lane.
Bruhh😂
