Plasma Cutting and Metal Forming
Sign Post Brackets
We had a customer reach out to us. They had bought a sign from us and wanted to make a 4x4 frame to hang their sign with and asked that we design some brackets to hold it together.
These brackets are made form 14 gauge steel with bolt holes pre-cut.

Can You Make A Metal Door Mat?

This week's project was a new idea for us. We were inspired by seeing a cast iron door mat and we might be able to do something similar... Only ours is customizable. This piece is cut from 3/16 in steel and measures 30X18 inches. Turned out to be quite heavy too 10 to 15 pounds by our estimate. We put thin feet on the bottom of the mat to prevent water from pooling or lingering and causing rust...

Trike Cargo Rack

This lighthouse was ordered by a customer as a decoration for the grave of a loved one. Since we know this one will be out in the elements all the time, we took the extra step of clear coating it after the layers of primer and paint so that it will look good for years with little to no upkeep. HI, I'm sorry but I'm not rich enough to buy a metal cutter like you have and I wonder how I could make braquettes without this laser cutter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the tricks we use when approaching a project like this with unknown or uncertain dimensions is to use cardboard or even wood to mock up an example. This helps us see what we like and what works. Once you have the shape and dimensions nailed down, you could cut your brackets out with an angle grinder or other cutting tool. The mounting holes could be drilled. The VNC plasma table is definitely not the only way. We would love for you to share your own process. Maybe you could make a better version than we did.
