zhlédnutí 2,1KPřed 6 lety
An idyllic trip to an island changes the dynamic between two friends. Shot on Super 8. Kodak Tri-X reversal Film. This short film is a prequel to a much larger concept that I have in mind. My goal for this film was to create a dreamy scene and capture the transition from friendship to romance. By making this short film I learned how to make a movie with the analog format and became a more econo...

Great job I come from Leo's live 😁
This was great. Authentic and real. I feel your pain. I work in a place where I deal with the public too so I understand how it can get. Anyway, good job, dude. 😊
Vista pos looks the exact same to this day lmao
Perfectly captured the fish tank boredom of the box office. I worked at the movies 10 years ago and at my AMC, we had one manager who made us turn in our phones before going to work box. I remember I'd work Tuesday AM solo in box and it was torture. We weren't even on the same floor as the theatre, so it's not like ushers or ANYBODY would come by to keep you company like they would at guest services and concession.
id bring a acoustic guitar and jam out
damn, i cant belive this was 6 years ago
If you like my content feel free to check out my newer work! I’m now an animator :)
I hate to tell you this, But every job you ever have, Including your dream job, Will turn in to the same mundane daily chore. Its called the human condition.
Can relate. made this video so long ago now
“Now I have sleep issues” lmao welcome to my world I’ve always had ghat
That *
Great video! It would have also been great to explore the links between the campaign and the fifa street game.
It's been awhile since I saw paper tickets
WOW!
Taxi driver remake
This is a really good video! I just got my first job at a movie theater (at a mall); so our box-offices, concession stands, and theater auditoriums are all in one giant building 😄
This is like a mini movie and I loved it.
This would be a great loop as a music video. Beautiful and cinematic.
Thanks man!!! Means a lot :)
@@NoahKimFilms lets do it :D

Did you create this? Then nice job! If not, then nice post! Have a nice day
Made this in c4d and octane!
Nice shoes!
Cinema worker here during covid shenanigans. I am from Bulgaria. We only sell popcorn and nachos for food which is easy. Problems are: -severely understaffed because of covid -extra long hours of work -before I just used to sell popcorn, now I am an usher, sell tickets, work at concession, manage other employees, work from start 'til closing time, no breaks during work because I don't have time, manage stock and stock dates, count inventory, etc. -there are a total of 10 cinema rooms and on a good day there are 3 people who clean, otherwise there are 2. -customers bring in outside food and make a mess everywhere, now I have 7 minutes to clean a hall with 604 seats then I have to run to 2 more cinema halls and clean those all the while I'm ushering people's tickets. -customers smoke inside cinema halls and leave bags of trash in every hole crack they can find -I sometimes stay an extra 3 hours of work so I can get everything done (unpaid hours) -clean the vomit from the carpet -clean the bathrooms -go back to concession after cleaning after 300+ people only to be shouted at by people who's reservations expired because there was a long que and I get called lazy or an idiot etc fun job
Hey man I’m applying for a cinema does everyone get a turn at concessions, ushering, box office etc ?
Or are we allowed to chose a specific area we want ?
@@geraldcalero4179 I guess it depends on the cinema if the positions of concession worker and usher are united. Our cinema united both positions. If you have to choose though go with concessions. It's a lot easier than sprinting from one end of the corridor to the other as to not miss the end of the movie. Concessions at my cinema also pay better than usher because we get a bonus for more sales. Concession workers also get to leave work 15 min after the last movie starts whereas ushers have to stay sometimes until 1AM to send away and clean the last cinema room.
Thats why you bring you switch lol
It didn’t exist back then haha
Just got hired tbh
I’m a high school student about to start a summer job at my local Regal cinema. Looking forward to it.
I'm a uni student looking forward to working at my local cineworld aswell. How's working at the cinema?
This actually inspired me to apply to a bunch of movie theaters lmao
tickets only cost $12.85?
Awesome. Here is my 2 minutes one man crew mystery short film (Making, acting and camera done by myself alone) czcams.com/video/gBX4_tg7D7k/video.html

How are you hours? Are you required to work any amount of nights/weekend hours?

hahah
Can you work at 1 position only or do you have to get moved around and work everywhere?
"How come this button never fucking works?"
U work at regal cinemas? For a sec I thought u work in a different movie theater
do you even have a chair 😭😭😭
I now want to work in the cinema thanks dude.
i felt like i was watching a movie..
it's a good teen job I say
Why am I watching this before my first day tomorrow
Hi, how was your job? It's been a year now, because I am thinking of applying a job in Cinema for my first time job.
Recently applied for Regal and got an email back for an interview. I always thought it was my dream job. Boy am I conflicted.
2 Months later, how has it been?
Brandon Reyes I applied for Regal a couple years ago, but never had the chance to go for an interview. They eventually, however, managed to keep my application, mostly because I see some of the people I know who work every time I see a movie at my local Regal theater as a frequent customer. I have since ended up working in retail for a couple months now. But yeah working at Regal was probably my dream job too.
This is so dramatic and I love it 😭🙌🏼
This was better than most films
czcams.com/video/m2jjtRabKfg/video.html
Worked at Regal from 2005-2010 and man I wish I had had a smart phone, let alone free food other than popcorn. This brought back some memories though. Thanks.
What is a runner ?
Why did this remind me of a Tarentino film lol
Reminded me more of a Fincher film tbh.
What do they ask at the interview?
Working at movie theater is less pay but you get to see your free movies get discount on foods I was thinking about working at one but then decided not to because they will have weird hours and you have to be really fast and good about working in one.
