3 things high-ticket Web Design clients are willing to pay for: never justify your prices again
Do you ever scratch your head thinking how you can “justify” the value you provide to your clients so you can raise your rates? When working with high-ticket clients, an important mindset shift is to avoid pricing based on your own pocket, and understand that for business owners with more money in their bank accounts, pricing is a consideration but it's not the MAIN one. In this video, I’ll explain the 3 things high-ticket clients value the most and they are actually willing to pay for so that you can learn how to price your services to make more money and give more value to your Web Design clients. Happy learning!

You’re welcome 😊
Thanks for this tips 🫶
The most irritating thing I always face is my clients tell me how to design and give me some constraints, so, I can't think freely & the second one is they force me to make some weird changes that I surely know will not look great if I do so. Now, I don't know how to find millionaire clients like you. Can you teach us?
I hear you! The more you're positioned as an expert, the more of a say you have in the design process. That client wasn't my direct client, it was while working at an agency xD Having said that, I do have a "how to get clients" video, make sure to check it out!
@@hellobont ya, I watched that. I follow your content regularly. I watched all the videos including the advanced composition, typography, fundamentals of animation... Love your content.
Thank you so much for these lessons, I also wish to join your club but right now I can’t afford it, is there any way one could get sponsorship or scholarship at the BONT club ?
Hey man! No problem. These free videos are my way of sponsoring everyone who is willing to hear my advice and apply it. And these free videos are funded by my paid members. great content as always
Glad you think so!
Thank you for always dishing out value in your videos. What would you say in an ideal price range a beginner / intermediate web designer should charge
Hey man! Good question. Although it depends on a lot of factors, I recommend thinking of $3K (just design) to begin with. In most countries around the world, that would allow you to give a regular website the love and attention it deserves. I've had a client who was just beginning charge double that amount, so it depends. But I would say from there up!
@@hellobont Thank you so much for the insight
the information is great but your video is hard to look at with high speed graphics flashing everywhere
i love your websites!! is it possible to see more of your website projects?
Thanks, you can see more of my works in my social media accounts, links in the description!
You being behind the plant is driving me crazy lol
Underpinning Golden rule! The user/reader should be able to scan over the copy with relative ease. Reduced cognitive load
Great insights, much love for your work. Gained a subscriber 🔥
Thanks and welcome aboard!
you meant the shorter the paragraph, the tighter the line height. :)
Thank you Adrian, your videos are always very helpful and inspiring. Brilliant!
Glad to hear, my pleasure!
Excellent video! Regarding rags, it's been a while since their release and they work fine as progressive enchancement, there is a CSS property called text-wrap and now has two new options, balance and pretty. Both of them are dealing with orphans and widows but use them with caution. They are pretty expensive in performance. Use them with caution and only when it's really needed.
That's great to know, thanks for sharing!
bro this is more advanced than than the advance itself, can you make some videos about No-Code development also, something like framer for example
Thanks! Check my video "should web designers learn to no code?"
Valiosa información como siempre! Gracias Adrían.
shouldn't the first point be: "the wider the paragraph, the bigger the line height" ?
Yes I was confused because he contradicted his point with that statement
Yeah, it's clarified in the description!
I always think about accessibility when using all these fancy typefaces, I do love the design of them but careful cutting out customers or people being able to access your website.
Muchas gracias, son muy buenos consejos!
Thanks!❤
Welcome!
Great tips. you made it so simple to understand
Thank you, Adrian, I do find this video extremely helpful as a beginner in web design field. Again, many thanks from Vietnam
Glad it was helpful!

Welcome aboard my friend!
Thanks a lot Adrian.. Your contents are truly a gem.. Thanks a lot.. I learnt a whole lot from this single video.. I always learn from your videos.
Happy to hear that man!
You said the longer paragraph the tighter the line height? Didn’t you mean the opposite?
Great catch! Wow haha you're right. The longer the paragraph, the more loose the line height.
These tips are so underrated, well done Adrian!
Thanks a ton bro! Hope you're doing well :)
This is very helpful, thank you
So glad!
Greatest infatuation and admiration 😃
haha thanks man, glad you liked the video!
Can you please recommend some Books to learn more about these things from scratch like typography, fundamentals of design & many more ?
Any more books that you would (or any of you guys) would recommend when it comes to design?
I have a post on my Instagram account with my top 5, but maybe I can do a video about that :) I'll note it down.
I'm going to review all my drafts and apply these typo rules to see the difference. Thanks again Adrian
Short and on point ❤
Haha, perfect, thank you
Please make a video talking about how you get clients once you've established your niche and portfolio. For instance a freelancer launches with 7 web design concepts for a target market, how do they talk to the right person to make the sale? Cold emails? Spray and pray?
I share that in the video linked here "how to get more clients" ;)
Sorry, but offer webdesign just for one industry, the burnout will come in rocket speed.
So much value man! Instantly subbed. I have a question that's related to the topic, do you send the client a detailed contract before collecting payment, or do you send the contract afterwords? Because if you're not selling the mechanics, then a super in depth contract that outlines everything that is included with the site build can be overwhelming to the client, and turn the sale into "I want to take time to think about it / I will get back to after I read it". What that does is getting the client "colder" and makes him forget all the emotion that was built during the sales call... The best practice is to collect payment right on the call after you've made the pitch and overcame the objections. But with something like web design where there are a lot of moving parts and contracts are important, it can affect the sales process. Would really like to hear your opinion on this. Do you provide an in depth contract before payment collection?
Great question! I think you're on point with what you said. I recommend sending the contract once the first payment is done.
@@hellobont Thank you so much for the extra clarity man!
Love you content. But we need more and more videos from you guys.
Thanks, more coming. But let me ask you: have you implemented everything I explained and adviced in my already uploaded videos?
@@hellobont Yes, I have implemented a lot of stuff, I used to price hourly before now I do on the project basis which is massive change for me
I really appreciated the video, especially once I thoroughly understood what you meant at first. I am wondering something though, I am not really in the industry yet but I feel like it might be harder, as a starter working with small businesses, to find a full time developer to work in tandem with. It may not be my job at all to find one, but then wouldn't it help to know how to make a full website from design to publishing to kickstart a career (a bit like you did)? Concluding this by saying I really enjoy your channel, you explain things professionally and I resonate a lot with the imagery you set in your videos. Thank you for your work (and perhaps your future response)!
I respond comments who I think deserve my attention and this is def one ;) The short answer is: it's easier to find a partner than to learn to do everything yourself. Not only applies to developers, but with others professions like copywriters, social media experts, SEO experts. Is it counter intuitive? Yes, like I state in the thumbnail :P that's why most won't take this path. Happy to hear you enjoy my channel!
@@hellobont Okay, so the idea really is to find someone! Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer my question
I lost count 😅
Lol hope the linked videos can help you with that!

Thanks Adrian for your valuable thoughts. Sometimes we need someone to say even the obvious things.
My pleasure man, glad it helped!
Hey Adrian, I am an amateur web designer. Do you have any ideas on where and how to start learning more advanced/intermediate web and graphic design? It seems to me that your courses and level of expertise are way beyond me at the moment, but I'm really inspired by what you're doing, and the things you're saying really resonate with me.
Hey, thanks man! Glad the content resonates with you. For more beginner level tutorials, there's a ton of content here on CZcams. I would pick one main source of truth you resonate with and stick to that. Let me know if you any more specific questions, "learning graphic and web design" is a broad topic so it's difficult to answer 😅
@@hellobont Forgive my late response. I may have been too quick to call myself an amateur because I've completed a UI/UX course and have almost landed a job a few times. However, I eventually realized that UI/UX wasn't 100% my passion. This is where web design comes in, as it aligns more with my interest in aesthetics and artistic touch. I am proficient in Figma, but concepts like Typography and the Golden Ratio grid are still somewhat mysterious to me. Your work is pretty amazing so maybe I'll be more direct and ask if you could advise someone, ormaybe it could even be yourself if only you work with people who don't really understand what they want yet!
6/10 is mine! I made my portfolio site recently. Can you suggest improvements?
Awesome! Take a look at the video I did about your portfolio 😊
Gracias Adrián! Fenomenal informción.
Me alegro que sirva!
