Grooming a tiny ski slope - Timewarp
A few different clips mashed up from some nights of grooming our tiny slope. Keep in mind no blade, so its a lot more track/'tiller' work. Its no Pistenbully 600, but it does the trick for this little run.

How to set timing on SCHRICK BMW E36 cams/find TDC!
zhlédnutí 8KPřed 3 lety
I couldn’t find e36 SCHRICK cam timing anywhere online so I figured it out with a spare head I had laying around. I hope this helps someone out there! This is an s52, but this should be the same for these cams in all single vanos cars. Make sure once you have set your timing to turn the engine two times over then check it the logos are straight up and the crank damper is at TDC. Instagram: @dri...

    also the first cam lobes face each other at a 45 degree angle for TDC

    Were you doing this just to swap the cams? or was this apart of a larger engine rebuild?

    I sent a mail to ask schrick,they told me jsut use stock cam tools to set cam timing

      Yea, I used the the cam lock tools and such but there is no TDC marks on the cams. So no matter if you have all the tools, you are still in the dark lol. Thanks for the comment, hope it works for you!

    There no sort or different cam timing angle that you have to do on these shrick cams? You just do your cam timing based of the stock cam blocks?

    • @driftpunkmotorsport3852
      @driftpunkmotorsport3852 Před 3 lety

      Yeah so the schrick cams just need to be set to TDC to match the bottom end of the motor. Finding the timing marks is the hard part, then throw on the cam lock blocks and your good to go. I did some tests and checks with my spare head (stock cams) to make sure the schrick cams wont have any interference. Be careful, as this IS an interference motor. So if your off by more than a degree or two its gonna be a bad day!
