Mack human fly the friendly sky incorporated
omg the comments in here. its just a plane, its not that serious bro
Lufthansa had a similar video sometime in 2012
anybody who paid 5,000 for the privilege of eating dog shit food off a slightly warm plate deserves to be mocked
REMEMBER do NOT spit in their food no matter how much of an entitled asshole they are being
Love classic United. Continental logo, not at all. Bring back the tulip.
One day when I upgrade to a better paying position at American Airlines. I will still have United Airlines.
If you liked this video, check out the one for Pan-Am serving techniques.
I worked as a flight attendant for United in 2006. I remember being in orientation at the old headquarters in Elk Grove , Illinois. They played this song and I got teared up!!!
😮😮😮❤
The Raging skies nowadays😆😆
Go United!! So classic.
OK!!!
5:47 also if u have family coming picking u up or ur heading to the parking garage to drive home
This song still makes me feel like I’m going home, love United!
It's A320, not just 320.
MY HOME!!!!!
The airport part of this video has some really goofy music
This is probably what the people saw on 9/11 .. united 175
i saw this commercial once on'voyage to the bottom of the sea'when i was younger in 67!
Took me 3 years, on and off, to find the commercial with this song. After over 30 years I can finally rest my mind hearing it again.
This campaign got a very favorable response but reportedly the marketing department at United couldn't leave well enough alone. They sent "thank you" letters to the "wives" who were "taken along" and invited them to join their husbands on business trips again. Only some of the wives hadn't made the trip.
What a wonderful video showing United's beautiful aircraft and wonderful employees. It's nostalgic for me to see videos and pictures from the airlines I loved in my youth and still love today!
I love how that last plane maneuver is something that would never happen if passengers were aboard
Great memories with UA !!❤
Is there one made for Washington/Dulles since it's a United hub, too?
Great video. Good on you United.
It’s unbelievable how dumbed down this service has become. As much as I love United, their catering and presentation in Polaris is so awful. Get these young bean counter fools out of the airlines, please.
The memories!!❤❤
Lets face it.. when we heard this song on the Weather Channel.. times were different then and MUCH better than they are today! Also if youre like me when you listen to this song you think of the good ol golden years from the early 1900s, and our soul cries for those times once again.
The good ol battleship days :c I didnt fly united at all unfortunately but i do remember thinking "damn these are the coolest livery's out there" (I wonder it would take Scott Kirby, the current CEO of United Airlines to paint an airframe or 2 in the battleship livery
Sad to see SAS leaving :(
United Airlines come fly the friendly skies
I remember this commercial as a kid in the late 80s early 90s
I watched this in case I ever get bumped up to First Class from coach and will then have the requisite knowledge to critique the FA if they make any mistakes in the service. I would never return a glass with any wine still in it, and will insist that it is refilled until the bottle is empty
Back when the safety videos had a touch of class.
Amazing music, absolutely atrocious shitbag company.
This video feels like a dream
❤
And now United Airlines is a joke with a drag queen CEO.
Rhapsody in Blue was one of United Airlines was one of THE BEST marketing campaign tunes of all time of any company.
Uniting the goods that lead the way to the friendlier skies!
Good thing flight attendent ps have there tablets. They don’t have to write everything down about a trip
How old is this
who else keeps rewinding from 54 seconds? How i wish i could play piano, so i could play this incredible piece!!! It's the simple pleasures in life.........
Seattle
The video start is now a highlight on the SponsorBlock database; thank me later.
If there was a problem with an aircraft, I would want a United Captain in the seat. However United service isn't the greatest.
United Airlines needs to bring this commerial back as it was a song everybody new, young and old. The country needs positive and uplifting commerials as these. My all time favorite airline commerial.
Don draper made a great work with this advertising
