According to the law everyone must comply with the TCPA, even to make normal cold calls from human. So you must obtain prior consent even if a human is cold calling someone. So actually, it doesn't change anything, right? Since the new regulation, have you noticed a change in your industry? Are people less prone to use AI for cold calls?
Thank you for your question. The only change which has come in is to do with the voice cloning rules. One must identify that a bot is talking. The rest has not changed much. Consumer consent was needed before as well. People/Companies are enjoying the use of AI for pre-sales qualification and getting great results.

Fcc passed a law cold calling US consumers illegal, I am afraid that when other countries follow a similar suit, then it has to be only inbound call. That being said, even for the inbound, it is a good product.

A bit robotic and yes the latency is a giveaway as well as the typical standardized, neutral American announcer accent. That makes it sound like a string of recordings. Accent is very important in the United States a lot of information is conveyed by it You have to take that into account when choosing a voice or voices It's a subtle cultural knowledge base that in a cold call can make all the difference and with the increasing numbers of AI bots out there calling people, it canalso be the tip-off to just hang up. I think in this case it would be better if the AI told the recipient that they are AI

@@vodexsocial I looked up the ruling. "The FCC's ruling deemed calls made with AI-generated voices "artificial" under a 1991 federal law aimed at curbing junk calls." What I'd like to know is (and I have a feeling that this is okay) if I regenerate my own voice that's not an artificial voice It's my natural voice that's been cloned us that ok. Politicians have been making mass callings using their own voice for years now, so I can assume that that use case is not illegal regardless of the technology that you used to construct the message,so the key here would be to use the voice of the person, an actual person who is involved with the subject matter and purpose of the call. So let's talk about customizing the voice into the backend as a service, as well as ships and shoes and sealing wax, cabbages and kings.... ( To paraphrase Louis Carrol in Alice in Wonderland)
