Garden Shed Build Part 27 Preparing the Roof Panels For Install
zhlédnutí 313Před 2 lety
This is a quick video where I explain and show the steps that I go through to prepare a full length roof panel. This is a snaplock roofing system with no exposed fasteners so we have to bend a hem at the eave end to hook over the eave trim and add a vertical bend at the top to prevent wind driven rain from getting too far up under the ridge cap. Are the plywood ties consumed in the process of the concrete pour ?
Goldens… will lick anything. hahaha
Pretty well clinches the 60v max 20in for me. Thanks for the video.
I'll gladly sell you Jahn-C brackets! Nice vid.
That's when a 30 minute job turns into a 2hour job, at least when I usually try it
Great video Dan. How long it work on 2 and 3 gear? Thanks for answer.
Liberals ruined gasoline. That's why I bought this saw. Fill a saw with treated gas, set it down for 6 weeks, and you may not be able to start it.
Best pizza sauce ever! Thank you!
Excellent for trimming, brush and light stuff. But even then not worth four hundred some dollars.
On a 4' wall, Is the 1/2 " plywood strong enough with the 4 whalers as you did?
I am sorry, but you lost me early in your video. I would've preferred to see your awesome knowledge focused, slowly, on a couple or even three transitions, and show closeup of the transition. Thank you, I will check your channel again later.
Excellent video for not editing out the struggle removing the fitting.
If I have black pipe coming into my house and I want to go to ball valve and then pex after that. What fittings would be best ?
THank you, appreciate your help
Dan, a very thorough demonstration of this system. Thanks.
Why not to simply use allen head bolts?
would help if you knew anything about Estwing. Clearly you don't.
Why didn’t you buy this model Makita XRJ06PT 18Vx2 LXT 36 V with 2 batteries?? 36 v Is it better or is it a myth??
DRS780 - пила огонь🔥, полный контроль над процессом пиления. Но мне больше всего нравится в ней крючок - огромный, цепкий и крепкий не то, что у RS001🙈 Рад😊за Вас✊ Привет из России Булатный лайк мой👍
Why are these nipples made of galvanized steel, which will rust, vs. copper or stainless?
I studied Metallurgical Engineering. Can it also be related with Field Engineering in some way?
I have my original Estwing 20 once. Bought it in 1970 the handle has turned green and my 16 ounce Estwing, the handle has turned brown
Learn your tools before you make a video!!! Painfull
My I-crimp cinch tool has a removal function built into the tool for the cinch rings. Press and rotate a button on the tool to allow the jaws to close completely thus cutting the crimped nub at 90 degrees to the band.
Excellent video. I love my XRU 09! Huge thanks for showing how to load the string!!!!
"Are nipples standard and fit for all water heaters?"
FYI: If the tank fitting is steel, it will cause a galvanic reaction with the brass/bronze hose end. Happens with dissimilar metals of most types when in contact with each other. Thread tape and/or dope won't act as a barrier against this. If possible, add a short brass/bronze nipple between the tank and the braided hose. Nipple is much cheaper and will be the sacrificial piece, rather than the pricier hose. Swap out the nipple with a new one when corrosion starts. 👍
Never use those flex hose style supply lines. I’ve changed so many that have broken down and leaked out plugged up faucets with rubber. I think they are trash
Linoleum...?? Dang... was impressed with how well you missed the "tile" with all that hammering...
sound
Needs an editor one short video needs to stop pretending he’s ever been on a job site it’s cringe needs to learn proper forming before teaching fukin yuppies
Коротко... 7 отрезов в диаметре 12" равно 0,3 куба... Это же реальное фуфло...!!!...
Not quite 30" clearance in front of the electrical panel :) My water heater looks just like that. I bought and installed a new one but I'm going to attempt to repair the old one an use it somewhere else. I wasn't 100% sure the nipple was actually replaceable. Thanks. I might try to ratchet strap the old one in place somehow or maybe throw a back up wrench on the release valve to keep it from spinning. I'll pre soak it with something like penetrol overnight.
I do that all day long with the same tool, I never see a unskill user like that ... bat was the goal ? piece of makita for sell a another dirty tool ?
Interested in more info if possible
Very awesome. Thanks. Big help. Good film crew. Peace ✌️
I had to 😂😂😂😂 because I'm going through the same issue right now.
I am currently leveling out a 3 story building for siding Building was built with ICF. Its 3 inches off in some areas! I need a heavier plum bob as the wind sways it. Laser?
Hey Dan, would you want to sell that 16oz Dalluge
I just spent 3 hours trying to remove a rusted and broken flange. There was no way i could unscrew the darn thing. It baffles me that such fittings are not shaped like a nut which allows for a better grip using a wrench.
this is what i have. installed three in my life - 2 gas one electric so I have some experience. this one is gas. I replaced this one with my own hands due to Sandy in 2012. Basement in NJ. all is copper. sharkbite cold. sweated hot out. sharkbites cold are in great shape. for the hot out, I have the niple, the copper threaded adapter, 4 inches of 3/4 pipe straight up and a 90. the seams of the 90 are leaking. green and corroded. after the 90, i have 1 foot of 3/4 and another 90. again 90 green corrosion and leaking. must be due to moisture in basement and 12 years lol. I want to hacksaw the pipe before the first 90. I want to sandpaper the 4 inch piece due to deposits and sharkbite 90. after want to use use pipe and sharkpipe 90 if i need to use a small sharkbite connector after the second 90 so be it. how do i deal with the hot water? good shut off on the cold water side. good ball valve. can shut building off if need to. I am comfortable with the the repair but not with the hot water. How do i repair an active gas hot water heater? thank you.
Most building code wants 3 feet in front of the panel box. Diffently not water lines.
Pretty good intro music is louder than you are
String goes around clockwise if the base plate faces you (side with printing and hole). String goes around Counter-clockwise if the base plate face you. But don't forget that we are referring to the direction the string goes around the hub... so if instead you are focusing on the direction you spin the hub when holding string steady in your fingers (like Dan), then spin the hub the opposite of the above. Geesh, maybe it's easier just to forget it all and try whatever you want, then if it doesn't work you know to thread it the other way! Anywho, from his perspective Dan is facing the nobbed end (not hole) facing towards him and moves the HUB clockwise - that's my story and I'm sticking to it (and will continue to look for my comment most every time I rethread (or eventually scribe the direction on the hub!)
When I started framing back in 2000, all the tools in the bags you have, were required, everything had a purpose. I have the non-titanium "renegade" 19 oz stiletto hammer, yup, I like this video.
