HOW TO USE A CAST NET TO CATCH FISH
Our cast net how to videos continue to be among our most popular ones so we are creating a few videos from a different perspective. I am wearing a gopro camera while throwing the net so you can see how it looks from the perspective of the one throwing the net. This video is one that we are using a 6' net from OceanMaster and was purchased at Bass Pro Shops a few years ago. We really like the net. It has served us very well and has caught us countless thousands of bait fish.

You committed a sin with your Carolina Skiff J16, you should had never put any holes in the floor. Anything you need to attach to the floor, you should do with fiberglass and epoxy, not by drilling holes in the floor, which will eventually allow water to get inside where the foam is and make your boat much heavier. That happens to every single Carolina Skiff J series where people have drilled holes in the floors.

My wife and I stay there every year; they tell us ‘welcome home’ when we arrive. There is a small reef starting to form about 100 yards out from the pool, slightly to the right. Tons of lobsters and, fish and sea orchids. We purchased a “diver down” flag and float and left it for future guest. There is no place like the Limetree Bay Resort. !!!!

Hated living in Florida, until I started fishing. Going to the shore and being able to catch dinner for the week pretty much any time of the day really made me grateful for this place again. Do you have any good recommendations for bait for surf fishing a pompano rig? I've been using frozen shrimp but they kinda suck at staying on circle hooks in choppy waters. Thinking about switching to some kind of small baitfish, but not sure what I should use.

@@gregpage4611 you saw correctly. There are no snap swivels. The planer is held on by pressure. It felt weird not “securing” the planer but the wind-on system has not lost a planer for us yet!

There are skates but they are pretty rare, the best place to find them is in north Florida, the keys, and west coast
