If you want to play Emilie/Diluc, one idea is going "mono-pyro", so you can put Bennett in for Beidou for example to buff them

Emilie is not doing much in that team comp. I recommend putting an electro character with Alhaitham (Fischl or Kuki) and playing Emilie with someone else (Bennett + Xiangling is an option for 4 stars)

@@anddad my only electro 4* IS lisa and i need two dendro characters to get the better of alhaitham, also i don't have fischl nor shinobu and although a burning team IS a great option alhaitham's huperbloom is better, maybe when i get kinich i change to burning damage so that emilie can provide good support

she's very good because of the artifacts set without that she's a worse Albedo with a cool drill

if you have neuv and arle you technically don't NEED more DPSes to clear abyss (unless you need more characters for Imaginarium theater). if your current teams are struggling with abyss, pulling for team upgrades (i.e. Yelan for Arlecchino Vape) can be good. but going for Mualani is also fine as another solid DPS if you like her (though I personally don't think she's overall better than Neuv and Arle at her current state)

both are good DPSes, although Neuvillette is MUCH easier to play to get good results. up to whether you like their playstyles or not

She’s basically a less efficient but still very good version of neuvillete so if u like how she looks go for her.

I think if you have good damage dealers/strong enough teams already, you can freely pull for whoever looks cool or fun to you. If Mualani is that character for you, she'll likely be a solid performing DPS.

Example supports include Zhongli, Xiangling/Thoma/Dehya, Kazuha, (maybe) Furina for normal vape. Can use Emilie or Nahida for Burn vape.

I mean physical characters are already broken enough and plus the artifact set was made for elemental dmg not physical so it made sense to remove it, maybe in the future of Natlan we would get a new physical dps and anew artifact set

Neither is spectacular ar their current state. Mualani is a main dps on fielder that works best in Vape teams, Kinich works in Burning teams and his best teams may include Emilie and/or Mauvika/the Pyro Archon. None of them is remotely close to a "meta pull".

they are around navia tier especially with their single target focus. kinich needs emilie a lot more than mualani does. they would both conveniently get a big buff with an off field pyro subdps who can fully use the new 4p support set... if only we had such a character

Mualani will be really strong since her multipliers are high enough even with the nerfs(78% max hp scaling is still a big number for an hp scaling character), furthermore she's also a nuke dps DONE RIGHT. Nuke dps can be clunky to play since it could be really annoying if they lose their crit, while mualani in the other hand has access to a lot of crit rate from her ascension stats and bis artifacts favoring her nuke capability to sky rocket consistently. She's also good with aoe scenarios especially if the enemies are group to easily gain more stacks. Damage wise he's also great but considering that he's only a single target in his e skill you might want to perform burst first after e skill. Emilie can also be a good addition, since her off field damage is really great that she can take care of the small enemies while you focus on the bigger ones. You might wanna invest a lot more on crit rate in his artifacts, it's really annoying if he lose his crit. He has some disadvantage in his bis artifacts, coz he only gain and not consume night soul point at the start, so his 1st canon ball has a high chance to not crit. Also you might want to put a shielder on him because it will be clunky to play him if he always get cc'd.

​@@ExacerberusIf Mualani isn't a meta pull, I don't know who would be. Her DMG output rn after all the changes is around the same as Arlecchino or even more at times. She's almost Neuvi tier with a bit more clunkiness.

No problem! Hard to fit both Navia and Mualani in the same team because they are both DPS that want uptime. I would recommend focusing on one of them for a team, so wither build around Navia or Mualani, and fill the last party slot with another support.

She almost broke the game in her v1 and v2 though, 130% max hp is just absurd and overkill. 78% max hp multiplier in her e skill still an op damage considering its also good in aoe scenarios.

If your excitement came from the fact she was absurdly broken then it was misplaced anyway.

She does less damage, but before she had an over killing problem because of how much damage she did. Mualani is a lot more balanced with her kit now. Before all her nerfs, she literally powercrept every single unit in the game. That is NOT healthy for the meta at all 😭

The doom posts for her are really d*mb, coz even if they nerf her(which is actually a balance) that much she still can dish out 200k + damage per surging bite with only vape.

From a completely rational standpoint, if you want to have the game easier and more fun go definitely with Yelan. Emilie is kind of in a similar situation like kuki where she only becomes strong in the following patches (archon release in 5.2 in this case) and is definitely not nearly as universal as yelan

I would say Yelan, she does demage AND buff, Emile is a strong sub unit but her team is quite limited. Also, for situation like Theatre, Yelan is a one woman army which has some advantage, that is, if you care for clearing Abyss and its kind. And, if you already have Furina, maybe you can pass Yelan.
