Could not say now as this lap is from Season 1, so 6 months ago or so, the latest setups are available through our subscription right now though which will show the BB figures used this season.

As long as you don't downshift too early at high rpm (which can cause a bit of rear locking) downshifting late, low in the rpm band for a bit of added rotation is absolutely fine. It's just about the timing to not induce oversteer when the car is loaded mid corner. Can't be too aggressive.

What appears to be the problem?

I can never seem to get the car to feel planted to the road, I always struggle fighting with it especially whenever I try and push it more to improve lap times, it generally spins out , the suspension always seems too spongy and generally a lot of oversteer . Thanks

Have you tried stiffening the suspension on the front and adding a bit of rear toe?

I will try and change things a bit, I just follow the free set ups I see on CZcams , but yeah I struggle to get the car to turn at speed without spinning off

What season was it and conditions? This is from last season, so if you are comparing to a historic lap, it could be that the physics build is slightly different, the track and ambient conditions were different etc. Plenty of different reasons could be the cause.

The Mustang was a free update, so no DLC was required, you just need to ensure you select the "open series" BOP in the main menu and it will be available to be selected.

Have to stay out of the ABS as much as possible!

@@CoachDaveHotlaps so do i just turn it off and learn how to not lock the brakes??

Definitely not, you'd run minimum ABS and learn to modulate effectively when you are wanting to apply combined inputs (steering and brake at the same time)

The drivers FOV is personal, so at the time of the recording this will be what they are using to set the laps

I have triples but I use 164 driving fov, -0.5 shift horizon, -0.5 driver height but depends on where your monitor is in relation to you

The ratios in the Mustang are very long as the cars uses the same gearset to accommodate Daytona in real life. So 6th is rarely needed in ACC outside of overtaking in the tow.

@@CoachDaveHotlaps I know even the other manufacturers in nascar still use that rear, though different sport seems logical to just use it here, reliable and predictable

It is a custom gearset for the GT3 car. They have yet to make a secondary shorter gearset for SRO and so the sim uses the one they use in WEC/IMSA that also caters for Le Mans next month.

I guess it is open setup. Since i top out 230-232 on Kemmel Straight in 5. gear. with no point in switching to 6. gear in the fixed Falken series.

are you referencing the console wizard? If so, the wizard is a template, so for cars where TC2 isn't used you can just ignore that parameter.

Something that could only be answered after some testing really, try it and see what you think!
