Hello, I know it's been long ago since you posted the video, and I understand the chairs are now sold, but do you recall if something was written on the underside? Something like "S.S. 400" or "Reception Room"? I believe these chairs were made by Harland & Wolff in Belfast and used to be on board RMS Olympic, sister-ship to the RMS Titanic. By that time, they weren't covered in leather but their sides and back were caned.

Hi, I have an antique Davenport which is exactly the same as the one in the link below, bar a a few detail differences. It is not in brilliant condition but looks nice polished up. It still has the original brass handles on the draws and dummy draws and overall is still serviceable. It would still look good as a design feature. I wish to put this in a UK local auction but have no idea what my item's value is. However, I am realistic enough to know that it isn't worth as much as the one in this image. Some professional refurbishment might be needed for this. Any ideas on value (if any at all) would be appreciated. @t
