yea you where LIED to sweetheart, 5 years old a VSG can find themselves in a LOT of trouble, from Strictures, to Acid errotion of the throat,on top of, Hiatus hernias, MASSIVE Vit D,A,b12,iron,Cal Defisetcys leading to heart ,muscle and bone troubles, all kinds of things, the research is there, but it seems Canada hasn't gotten the memo yet, EVERY issue a VSG gets is just like a lot of the issues the other WLS folks get

I just came from the emergency room in. Lancaster, California, they put my splint on completely wrong. It's not at a 90° angle. I'm Very upset with it and it hurts my leg more than it did without it.

I've had this done to me. It is proven to be the world's worst pain. It was worse then birth. You're wide awake. My first tube was bent, once inserted. So, they removed it. Had to start over. I screamed bloody murder. You feel every bit of it. It's about an inch-1.5 inches. Once the tube is inserted, you feel like you have an elephant sitting on your chest. Recovery time, took a month. Spontaneous Pneumothorax are the MOST painful trust me.

This was everything but fluid therapy...

The supra-scapular nerve block is a good thought. I have tried to implement this but the resources and time required is still high. The nerve is not always easily localized. And the block is not a technically easy block for a new practitioner. Furthermore, even when it works, the block is often not complete. Requiring some degree of IV medication. The Intra-articular block sounds more promising.

A med student here that was in tijuana where I dislocated my shoulder. I was given Valium, Diazapam and Oxycodone but they couldn't relocate.
