[Verse 1] In the heat of the summer I remember the ways you looked at me Said you wish I was older You had a thing for 1983 I was born a believer I believe in the way you call to me Like a dance-hall choir Singing out in broken revelry [Pre-Chorus] Hey! I really wanna see you again, but I’m thinking Hey! It’s hard for me to just be your friend [Chorus] You do something to me That I can’t explain away You’re killing me with chemistry All these words in my head That I probably shouldn’t take But I say them anyway You’re killing me with chemistry (You’re killing me with chemistry, you’re killing me with chemistry) [Verse 2] You had love for the mix tape With your feet on the dashboard of my car Said you couldn’t remember The last time you heard your favorite song Sang it out for the sinners Slowly passing by out on the road With your hand on my hand Said “I know a place that we can go.”
I feel like this songs music video would be the band in lab coats playing the song with Alex dancing while doing science in my middle schools science lab
I love this whole damn album but for this one song, the bassline is almost identical to Owl City's song Honey and the Bee, just in a different key and I thought I was having a stroke.
macpurcell21 I've never been a fan of pop punk bands going a lot more pop than punk. I loved Last Young Renegade (song), and I liked Dirty Laundry and Nice2KnowU pretty well but other than that there's just not a lot going on here. Think about how amazing their last two albums were and then they put out this, I can't help but be exceedingly disappointed
i thought that too, initially but i have to disagree with you. after playing the whole album 10 times in a row, the last songs got me so hooked, i now love afterglow and ground control better than dirty laundry and nice2knou. now im playing the album backwards!
Just got around to this song, and yeah I totally agree.... idk why but I also get Straight Up Hustler vibes but I'm honestly not sure why... I don't really see any big similarities... prolly just me

Welp that's my life in a song. Love this one. 💜 Still can't believe you couldn't finish explaining. Big love still. 🖤
How have I never heard this before 😂
The fact that this isn't on Spotify is a crime
I feel like this songs music video would be the band in lab coats playing the song with Alex dancing while doing science in my middle schools science lab
I can't believe this didn't make the album it's so good
ill never get over the fact that this isn’t on spotify
Why tf didn't they release this on the OG album??? It could have become a HUGE hit!!!
ATL: has songs exclusive to Japanese CD disc Across the Pacific: We hate that for you
Why isn‘t this song on Spotify ? 😰
Walter White's ringtone
I LOVE IT
Holy fuck I'm so late
WHY DID I JUST HEAR THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME. LIKE, WHAT? ITS SO GOOD
Why do I find these songs I never knew existed every other day
Why do I only find out about this in 2020 o__o
Why do artists not put all the damn songs on the album it’s really frustrating. This is a BOP.
What a good song if it was in Last Young Renegade it would be my favorite I wish we got this song
I never noticed his shirt before. Huh. Nice touch
Underrated!
Why aren’t these on Spotify or Apple Music?
Sam Bowering atl didnt release them (in the usa +more) they are bonus tracks released in japan!
it is only Spotify in Japan
this song is only release in Japan
Who the hell disliked this? They need shooting
I agree dude
😂😂😂
Lets go on a field trip to Japan to get this album.
Better yet, it's pirate time lads Edit: so i wasn't joking
beggining sounds like Honey and the Bee by OWL CITY haha czcams.com/video/laS4dTeTnxE/video.html
you’re playin’ ya self if you don’t think this is one of their best songs HIGHKEY
Alex *You had a thing for 1983* Me *Nope, WW1 & WW2 1914 - 1950* (probably wrong)
So they've done a panic! and had better bonus songs than some of the songs actually on the album
I love this whole damn album but for this one song, the bassline is almost identical to Owl City's song Honey and the Bee, just in a different key and I thought I was having a stroke.
I LOVE THAT SONG
why haven’t I heard this before??? Wtf??
All time low ♡

reply to this comment if this song reminds you of someone and it's killing you inside *replies to my own comment*
Yess
I hate that Japan got two extra tracks like, stop being greedy and selfish and pass those over.
When will this be on Spotify???
NEVER :(((
💓 My babysss.
multi fangirl atl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY ISNT IT ON SPOTIFY I LOVE THIS SONG
IKR
I don't know who thought of this idea but when albums are released in different countries they get a bonus track so this is Japan Bonus Track
@@drinferno1068no. Its because albums in Japan cost a hell of a lot more, so they put an extra song or two to make up for it
WHY ISNT THIS ON ITUNES ITS AMAZING I NEED IT
Japan got the 2 extra tracks thats why
The two bonus tracks are better than most of the album like what the hell All Time Low?
AfterTheApocalypse26 i think songs 3 through to 7 are great and 8,9 & 1 are okay but agreed it should be on the album

Just got around to this song, and yeah I totally agree.... idk why but I also get Straight Up Hustler vibes but I'm honestly not sure why... I don't really see any big similarities... prolly just me
