Can the heppa filter be cleaned with water?

The part that says twist to unlock won't twist! Drives me nuts! I've located and cleaned both filters so not sure why I need to twist, unlock and access this spot but there must be a reason or it wouldn't be printed on the unit. Any idea? I reeeally hope you know!

My issue is the vacuum works with the carpet attachment in carpet mode but will not work in floor mode at all. Took apart the handle mech and all the wires were connected to the switch. Any other suggestions?

I have a shark Rocket Pro, model UZ145 26, cleaned it all out, it turns on great but no vacuum suction. Where else can I check. Cleaned out all the filters and tube's no clogs.

Thank you! I just it at a garage sale for $5. Now I know why. It had a monster clog. Took over an hour to get unclogged. I just didn't know how to disconnect the hose. Now it works like a champ.

Your instructions are terrible. You show the filter assembly inside of the dust reservoir, then suddenly it’s out? Also, the assembly is sitting on table and you can just pull the filter out? Nonsense.

Hey Kimberly, I have a question about the Miele C2 canister vacuum, there is a black felt like filter in the back of the lid that goes above the post motor filter, I can’t find snagged what that black filter is called or if it can be replaced?! Do you have any idea what that black felt material filter in the lid is called??

Maybe you can help, I have a kenmore canister vacuum (116.29229211) that needs a power switch, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to properly remove the cover to access the switch, I don't want to break it. I know I need to pry from one side or the other, the cover goes the whole width of the vacuum, is is not held on by screws, any thoughts? Thank You!

I have a shark UV900, and my husband made the mistake of vacuuming an entire bag of flour that my dog busted open... i have cleaned every part i can think of. Theres no clogs in the hoses, holes, rollers, ive washed the canister, the hoses, rollers, and filters. It has no hepa filter. Ive shop vacced all i can out of the motor area, and taken it outside with all things unattached to blast flour out of the motor compartment as best i could. Any other ideas before i start tearing it open?

Thank you so much! I’ve just managed to unblock my vacuum cleaner - dropped the nail down the hose and found a blockage and had to use the long handle of a dusting instrument to force through a blockage and now have a working vacuum again

Cannot remove the filter from the assembly. I turn clockwise as you instruct, but it does not come out when pulled. I pulled hard!

Height rollers are not moving?

My power head will work for a second if i hit the reset button. It immediately stops again. Any ideas. There is. I hair, the roller turms. But no light and no suction except for that split second after resetting

I have the shark navigator pet model zu60. Kinda looks like the one in this video but mine has a yellow brush roller. Mine does have a clog that is being a pain to get out. It’s around the handle area and it’s compressed in that part of the hose tight. I’ve rammed a pole and all up in there and still not budging. I’m about at the point of where I just want to cut the hose and get it out of there and try to use really strong tape to mend it back together for a temp fix. Is there a way I could buy a hose and handle from you for my particular model? Or do you have any suggestions for me that I could try?

Excellent video on the Oreck Magnesium vacuum bag system. I have a question you might be able to answer. I went to remove a filled bag and in doing so the bag lock broke. I almost had to break the remaining lock to get it out. You mentioned in your video a link on how to replace the bag lock. I can't find it. Only links to the parts. If you do have a video on how to replace the lock I would very much appreciate it. I don't want to break the new lock installing it. Thank you.

I have a Kenmore canister, model 125.81614160. I was using it at work when suddenly the power switched off, and hasn't come back on since. How do I check the motor to see if it went out? I've already got the vacuum disassembled. I simply need to know how to test the motor. Thanks!

Hi Kimberly, I sometimes like watching your real estate videos for some reason, even though you will always be "the vacuum whisperer" to me. You do a really good job with them. I don't have the income for real estate of course (I just barely make rent this year, of course, that is in California, one of the worst states in nearly every way as it stands). I can't live in Florida though, I would not last 5 minutes with the climate and such.
