I have the same issue has a rod knock now..I wanted just a short temp repair so that I can trade it in to dealership and not have them lowball me.. My question to you would be can I replace only the rod bearings to eliminate the rod knock noise?i know it wonât save the motor it will eventually give out due to other parts that might be worn but would it work for a temp fix so I can drive for about 30 miles without any knocking?thank youđ
It is worth a shot, drop the pan may get lucky putting new rod bearings in it then put a 50 50 mix of lucas oil additive and 10w30 or 10w40 may shut it up. See how much steel shavings in the oil filter first. If there are big pieces may be too far gone.
Where you able to save the motor?
I used the bottom end from a 2014 s60 went through that and put it together. Crankshaft was trashed

Big primer spot showing through, paint accidentally over reduced, big runs, i haven't had one go this south in a long time. When a 6 hour repair turns into 2 days , living the dream

Holley sniper kits are expensive and only last 7 months , im in cj jeep club , we all bought fuel injection kits from holley 8 months ago , we all have carburetors now and holley will not be responsible , this brand is trash and i have 12 dudes to back that up ,

Hello and good morning Hello, my question is after the initial start of the system. In cars running, we had a no data screen. What was the solution to that problem?
In my situation the main problem was a defective throttle body unit. Long story short a replacement unit was sent. Even on a good units holley still has problems with radio frequency interference from all kinds of sources.
Not sure, if the car is running i would suspect the display or display connection

Main problem defective tbi unit. Secondary problem caused by accell wires causing rf interference. Short answer yes
Omg,I have the same wires, and share the same issue. Mine drove before I changed the wires and never really drove it again bc it won't run and shows the all red stall of fail on screen and dies. Running rich as well! Thank you for making this video, now I know to ditch my wires for sure!
When there is a "no data" message at the handheld it is usually a loose connection. The connection between the handheld and the TB.
There is an "open" or a connection on one of the harnesses not completely secured. But from the sounds on this video there are other issues with this setup.
I am having the same problem. While driving down the road its like the whole thing shuts off and back on again randomly. Holley had my unit for 5 weeks, only to send it back saying it was fine
Try putting some tin foil over the distributor, some plug wires cause interferance with the unit.Taylor wires are the only ones i got to work. Holley customer service is non existent and holley refuses to admit there is a problem.
They do it's called "the white wire failure" ecm loses signal It happen to me,Holley sent me a new unit right away, in exchange
Wow ,they were completely rude to me, my customer bought the warranty from JEGS and they eventually changed it out but after many lost labor hours and much grief. All the videos i made were sent to Holley. I knew it was an internal problem, the Holley tech representative never admitted it.

Dear Tractor companies why donât most of you find an old lorry Frame or even rebuild a brand New Lorry Frame for building stronger and better Tractors and put those Scania N113, Volvo B10M, Volvo D10A, Volvo TD102KF, Gardner 6LXC and Gardner 8LXB Diesel engines for those stronger better Tractors so they can still use them for any farms and even lift a broken down Bigger Buses and even broken down Lorries, why donât you build 6 and 7 seats so that other passengers can sit at the back and front including the driver. You can still build those four stronger medium sizes wheels and still make them even more farm tractor-like than it still was before, please can you do those exciting ideaâs for us tractor Lovers.

Started at Ford in 1988 as a heavy line tech. Quit in 2011. Oil pan reseal or rear main seal repairs......0 to date.
They have aged since 2011, Done over 20 in the last 6 years. Upper leaks, Countless, 7.3s leak from everywhere. Still love them though.

Have you found a fix for this? I am experiencing the same issue. Tried the first start yesterday
My main problem was a defective TBI unit. Jegs warrantied it (customer purchased extended warranty from JEGS). Would not run long enough to get any data at all. The interference problem after that with the new unit was the Accel wires. Put taylor wires on it and it ran great. But the main issue was the TBI unit internally shorting itself out.
Have you consider an electric one? Perhaps works.

Just had the exact same problem. Right above there, is an oil pressure gauge threaded into the upper oil galley. Add teflon tape and screw it back in.
Sniper system is junkâŠâŠput the carb back on and drive it.
What are you going to do about the shielding of the distributor? Iâm having similar issues with my sniper.
The interference on the tps snd iac turned out to be the Accell wires. I put Taylor race wires on and solved the problem
