These little 'bells' were the last project my brother was working on. I have no idea where this was going, what his ideas were. What you see here is a first prototype, he never finished it. This video is recorded as is. What do you think of it? Update - I got it all wrong. This was the first prototype of what was called 'Wandering Chimes'. After my brother passed away it was further developped ...

That dude is a moron, Tommy just wanted to finish real fast and get the hell out of there.
Welp, that's it. I've made up my mind. I'm never going on Dutch television.
Thank you so much, Sir, for sharing this. Like each and every single piece of work of your brother's it is pure beauty.
This is so cute! Fine work, you're an inspiration.
TOugh crowd
i like you frank
Super, I finally have a project that I want to make. The Bimbo box was driving my parents nuts when I was little. I must have seen it play hundreds of times.
Thanks
Frank, thank you so much for making this learning available. Tommy's teaching is so amazing and his performances are pure joy to watch! For a newbie like me who really wants to learn the zombie ball, this teaching is priceless!
A bit too noisy as compared to the classical zombie and hence makes loud background music inevitable.. But such invaluable tips and insights.. Mad respect to Tommy's genius.. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Paul de Leeuw is such a d!ck!! Got a magician as great and sweet as Tommy Wonder and he only got interested in blasting a beautifully performed routine.. Am sure things wouldn't have been this peaceful if he tried doing it to Copperfield or Penn & Teller.. Penn, especially, would have given it back royally.. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
hey are these for sell anywhere. ive looked everywhere for this version and cant find it. Loved Tommy Wonder, my magic mentor showed me a lot of him when i first started.
What a stupid thing to do, leave all the electronics exposed to the elements; totally absurd!
Don't be silly. These devices are used indoors.
@@franktechniek no! You can use it outdoors; I bought one and I intend to use it more outdoors than indoors.
I love me some Herb Alpert! These apes are really swinging, except that one distracted by the book
Yes indeed, he is the intellectual of the entire family, minding his own business ;-)
It is certainly not a silent routine. Loud music must be played.
Hie sluit je een webcam op samsung tv voir whats app chatten??
Brilliant
Awesome!!!!!!!!
thanks for sharing Frank❤️
My teacher, wonderful magician I miss him...
IT REALLY IS A JEWEL TO REMEMBER. I HAVE SEVERAL MAGIC TRICKS OF HIM THAT I USE FREQUENTLY IN MY PRESENTATIONS. GRATEFUL FOR SHARE. CARLOS
Magic is about entertainment. The fact that that people took the time to make these props to entertain other people is, in and of itself, an art. To come up with a design that is both convincing and entertaining is not easy. It takes a lot of thought, effort, and determination. I would argue that the process of making magical props is actually harder than performing with them.
Real magic.
I saw this live in London around 1985/86 - i left the building believing magic is real. Thank you Tommy🙏🏽

Really cool. One of the greatest
This is GOLD!
Goddamn genius he was.
Wat en idioot (show host)!
Tommy, you were a gentleman amongst ... Your magic an memory lives on.
His books are among my favorites. What a wonderful lecture!
To all who think the interviewer is tough.. its just his style and in the end paul did show some respect ... in those timez you kinda new mr de leeuw was gonna do this to you .. so you prepare ..
I met your brother here in CYPRUS in 2005 where he came and lectured us. What a Gentleman he was !!! A true Artist !!! A bought both of his Books of Wonder, and to this day are my best source of inspiration !!! So sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing!!!
Great tip, thank you!
One of his best performances on video. Too bad it isn't in color. One of magic's true artists. RIP Tommy.
I hate silent magic he is so great when he's talking
Thank you so much Frank - there was a "mechanical" sound when Tommy played with the controlling metal-insert, is that the same for you, or is this some noise on the video? Yes, magicians and hobbyists are keenly focused on performance and skill-development - even in a live audience there are those who _see_ the gimmicks, the misdirections etc. & we have the same here, Frank - so it's with great appreciation that, in fact, you are keeping Magic honed through your offerings. Cheers!
@1:01:46 What a wonderful mind that sees through mediocrity as it is concretized in the typical American mind-set - Jacobus - a king among fools
Great to see the maestro showing what the 'magic' really is! - what a talent!
elegant and genius
Paul de Leeuv, what a formidable idiot! No respect at all for his guest/interview object. He even attacks him physically in the middle of Tommys trick. One of the worlds best magicians being treated like that. But Tommy handled the idiot fantastically. What a star he was!
It wasn't totally unexpected. Paul de Leeuw is certainly not an idiot, it's just how he is. My brother knew that anything could happen, and we had a great time, also after the show.
@@franktechniek your are tommy's brother?
@@ShanksTyata Yes, I am.
Thank you for sharing this. I never got to meet Tommy Wonder... having gotten into magic in 2004 at age 45, This is truly a blessing. Thank you so much! Tim
Sir very nice performence
What a lack of respect! Congratulations to Tommy who knew how to keep his self-control

Isnt it possible to get or buy his socked coins? I am looking for a set since 8 years and cant find one:(
Sorry, but that was sold a very long time ago.
@@franktechniek well but there are so many tommy products coming out on hocus-pocus or his cup routine at the moment - wouldnt it be possible to make the coins and sell them too?
@@user-gs6mr9gj9g Well, if you see a business oppertunity here, please go ahead ;-) You don't need any licence from the estate to do so, just make and sell them...
@@user-gs6mr9gj9g please contact me. I purchased from Frank the original TW socked coins some years ago
Tommy was a great artist and genius. It was a pleasure to meet him, take a lesson from him and study his Art. I miss him dearly. Taking a wild guess-maybe those shells might have potentially been bells? FYI-I am the one that filmed his lecture at Hillside Illinois.
Thank you, I updated the description of the video. This is the first prototype of the wandering chimes, and it did came to life quite nicely. Your video is still highly appreciated - really great that you made it at the time. Folks love it!
@@franktechniek You'r e welcome. I am happy that folks love it! It was a great honor to meet Tommy at various points in my life. I took one private lesson with him, and I will remember it for life. I helped proofread the Books of Wonder, and feel that those books are true Art, with a capital A. I wish that I could have expressed how much he inspired me, how much his friendship and kindness meant to me and how magical he made me feel when I saw him perform or lecture. Thank you for letting me express my respect and love for him.
The most MAGICAL aspect is the amazingly simple, and inspiring way he explains -without explaining - WHY we all love magic so much! Very personal!
