Label: SW 2 Name: RODERICK ANGUIT Answer: Poetry often uses figurative language to create images or expressive ideas, while prose is more literal. Prose is a form of writing that is based on spoken language. It is characterized by its natural flow and rhythm, as well as its use of regular grammar and punctuation. Prose is often used for novels, short stories, and essays. Poetry, on the other hand, is a form of writing that is based on musicality and rhythm. Poetry is often used for poems and some of its devices are also used in songwriting.

Label: SW2 Name: Peve Bacho Based on its elements, how do prose and poetry relate and differ from each other? Answer: The difference between the two is that poetry is a form of writing that uses rhythm and rhyme to create a musical or chant-like effect. Poetry uses figurative language, or language that can have different meanings from what is literally said, to give multiple shades of meaning to a word or a phrase. Whereas prose is a form of writing that is more straightforward and doesn't rely on rhyme or meter, simply it's poetry written without line breaks.

Answer The video explains that prose is like regular speaking as it doesn't have a fancy, musical structure or special tricks with words. Whereas, Poetry is more like a song, we're familiar with how poems use rhythm, rhyme, and sections or stanzas to create a certain mood or sound. They also use comparisons or metaphors and other tricks with figures of speech to make us imagine things vividly. Despite their distinct styles, both prose and poetry ultimately serve the same purpose which is to share ideas.

SW2 Joshua B. Ferolino Prose and poetry are distinct forms of written expression, each characterized by unique structures and uses of language. Prose is typically straightforward, adhering to grammatical conventions and organized into sentences and paragraphs. It is the primary format for novels, essays, and articles, prioritizing clarity and narrative progression. In contrast, poetry emphasizes aesthetic and rhythmic elements, often utilizing meter, rhyme, and a concise, sometimes abstract form. Poetic language tends to be more evocative and symbolic, designed to stir emotions and convey complex ideas in a compact manner. Although their methods differ, both prose and poetry aim to express experiences, emotions, and ideas, each employing its own stylistic techniques to achieve this.

SW2 PAGOBO, BARBIE G. Based on what I learned on the videos, and based on their elements. Prose and poetry relate to each other since they are both being forms of written language. The difference between them based on their elements is that, Prose encompasses the six elements which are; plot, conflict, setting, theme, character, and POV. Which follows sentences and paragraph. While Poetry differs from prose because of its elements which follows syllables, lines, stanza, rhyme, rhythm, and sound pattern. Even though they differ, there can be some overlap. Free verse poetry doesn't have a set structure, and some prose, like dialogue in a novel, can be quite poetic. The choice between poetry and prose is up to the writer's intention and the desired effect.

Prose and poetry, while both using words to create meaning, take very different approaches, their structures and language takes into account with their differences, prose follows the natural flow of language, written in sentences and paragraphs with smooth transitions. Think of a newspaper article or a novel, while poetry often breaks from the natural flow, using line breaks, stanzas (groups of lines), and sometimes rhyme schemes to create a specific structure. This can be seen in sonnets or haiku, also on prose, it aims for clarity and directness. It uses literal language most of the time, with the focus on conveying information or telling a story, and poetry, employs figurative language like metaphors, similes, and personification to paint vivid pictures and evoke emotions. Label: SW 2 Name: Amorin, Rozel Jay Answer: Based on the video above which all about the elements of Poetry the difference of it from the Prose is the way it is written, the sound and the use of the language. First, the Poetry or poem it is written in line or stanzas where it has rhyme on it while the Prose it is written in a more natural way in a form of sentences and paragraphs. Second, the sound of the poetry or the sound of the poem is more emphasize in terms of rhythm because of the rhyming of the words, while in prose it's not necessarily to have rhyme so the rhythm is not that much of a thing. Lastly, the language in Poetry is very imagery like it can make you imagine the lines that is being said or read, while is prose it is straightforward that the message of the content is very clear. Therefore, there are a lot of differences between the Poetry and Prose each of those has a it's own uniqueness and purpose that made that specific way of writing beautiful.

      1. Based on its elements, how do prose and poetry relate and differ from each other?
